thats exactly how I feel! I trylu dislike dohoe, his actions regarding juyeong make no sense to me. I really wish…
If it was that easy every abused child would "move on" but it isn't and also maturity has nothing to do with trauma juyeong too was neglected and its reflected in his behavior both of them are gray characters they both do things that are reasonable for them but not that reasonable for others and they also both hide things from each other bc they both are protecting each other. Maybe dohoe did try to reach out maybe he didn't at all bc he thought in this way juyeong would be happier. He's definitely an overthinker and is miserable himself also not alot of people go to therapy there's still a lot of stigma against it. Even dohoi's friends in school weren't taking his dad's abuse seriously. I personally can't dislike him at all

Yes on iqiyi they're way more accurate & they translate what's written on the screen too and add the names of songs also it literally made so much more sense

I kind of understand Do Hoe. If i find out that you've been building a father-son relationship with my abusive…
I don't think that's dohoi's reason though because we don't know if he got to know this at the funeral or if he knew this already for years. It seems more like he feels guilty bc of his dad beating jy and afraid of becoming like his dad bc he hates violence and in a fit of anger he reached for the knive but directed it at his hand instead of in the direction of his dad in the mirror scene. He seems like a person who rather hurts himself than others but the preview of ep5 is confusing me if he truly believes jy left him or if he's just saying that to keep jy away from him bc his dad is dead so I don't know if he still wants to keep a distance with jy.

Lmfao just say you're clueless where did I defend anything I was explaining to you clueless person who can't read scenes or dialogues what did happen. Now kindly stop with your I know it all act you're not better than anyone I was genuinely being nice to you yet you even seemed offended by that in turn writing this to offend me which I'm not offended by bc I don't care abt other's opinions I like what I like and if others don't then it's fine everyone is into something else.

there are multiple possible & reasonable reasons as to why dohoi left juyeong just based on the things they've said, actions and scenes. First one is guilt towards juyeong bc jy took dohoe's dad's beating for dohoe he of course would feel guilty the guilt would eat him up he's a character who's that way from the beginning. Second in ep3 there's the mirror scene where dohoe grabs the knive trying to harm his dad after hearing that he beat up juyeong he directs the knive at his hand instead & looks into the mirror seeing his & his dad's reflection realizing he was about to do smth violent/ becoming like his dad. The things he hates the most are his dad & violence before juyeong coming he endured everything but bc the violence was directed at sb he held dear he couldn't accept it so that's why he fled because he feared he'd become violent. Also at the funeral scene Dohoe tells Juyeong that he can't understand him nor wants to bc he was crying for dohoe's abusive dad death and kept taking care of him all of those years ago if he did know abt this before the funeral he would certainly feel betrayed by Juyeong bc he took care of his abuser. Juyeong on the other hand most likely did that because he wanted to keep a link to dohoe and started questionably seeing dohoe's dad as a father figure because his own adoptive parents didn't care about him at all.
The behind the scenes of ep 3 also confirm this theory https://x.com/yn_sieun/status/1850247655332704570?t=XxvgURWsF9DzvZ0WleT_QA&s=19

After episode 4:I am depressed. This is the fourth BL series in the last two months or so that has started out…
There aren't any schizophrenic personality changes if you paid attention to the show you'd see that Dohoi is putting on an act to drive jy away.

Well, Do Hoe looks super close to his former bully, relying on him and listening to him, when he is so cold to…
You should put this as a spoiler and btw it's very clear that dohoe dislikes what you mentioned as your last point

Is this show worth watching? I looooveTMS and ITSAY and I think this show has an angsty vibe like that judging…
It's definitely worth watching I recommend it you could watch the first two eps first then wait till ep 5 &6 get released this Thursday to watch 3&4 bc the angst starts then and it will most likely get cleared in the next eps. Also to avoid any confusion watch with iqiyi subs bc the other subs are really bad and created much of the confusion a lot of us had in these last two eps.

Some of the comments are truly confusing me are we watching the same show? Where do some of you see dohoe being…
Dohoe even endured the bullies beatings bc he thought he deserved them for having an abusive dad.
Also there are multiple possible & reasonable reasons as to why he left juyeong just based on the things they've said, actions and scenes. What is going on? This last episode has me screaming at the tv. I’m not happy with Do Hoe, I hope the next episodes…
Dohoi was angry at his dad after the exam & asked him why he hit juyeong. He grabbed the knive either to harm his dad or himself but then looked at the mirror and saw the reflection of himself & his dad he realized he was about to do smth violent bc of his dad and his love for juyeong bc all of those years he just endured the abuse & bullying without doing anything but bc of his love for jy he changed into something else. In the other eps dohoi states that he hates violence and can't understand it so he ran away and distanced himself from everyone especially juyeong bc he was afraid of becoming violent like his dad. He probably also heard abt jy forming a father-son relationship with his dad and felt betrayed by jy that's why he told him at the funeral that he can't understand him & doesn't want to bc he forgave dohoi's dad/abuser and even took care of him despite him putting them in this misery. In short dohoi feels guilty bc of his dad beating juyeong but also feels scared that he will become violent like his father and is mad at juyeong for forgiving his abuser and associating with him. He's very emotionally drained when hyunho asks him if he's okay after their convo with juyeong he says "No I'm not" in a very painful way that hyunho even takes a double look at him.

Why did Do Hui say that he couldn't understand him this time? Does he think that Ju Yeong hit/provoked his dad?…

Are you talking seriously?? What respect should he show his dad was an abusive drunkhead who not only beat him…
I mean yeah I could definitely see that and I don't really understand that either the only way this could be explained is that it's because they have some sort of history either as really good friends or people who liked each other it could be easier for Dohoi to forgive him. If Hyunho not only apologised sincerely bc that's not enough but also redeemed himself. And ig if dohoi was all alone he would also be pretty vulnerable and more likely to accept him into his life. But I think Hyunho's story might be that of a closed case or one who had internalised homophobia bc he obviously likes dohoe romantically so either they had smth that was abt to be exposed or hyunho fought his feelings by literally bullying dohoe in both cases he's the one in the wrong but maybe Dohoe sympathises with him.

Ok so I think I know now why dohoi avoided juyeong and left him hanging for 12 years:
Putting this under spoiler just because.
