Welp, it's time for me to learn Japanese! I can't wait anymore for this to get subbed to English whew. I'll just have to suck it up and learn cuz I need my regular doses of Yukiko x Morio serotonin!
This looks gooood. High hopes! I got hooked on Suzuki Nobuyuki's acting from Danger-Less Detectives/Oretachi wa Abunakunai ~ Cool ni Saboru Keijitachi (2020) last year (which is hilarious and heart-warming and you should go watch it on Viki right now)!
You need to watch Skinship and compare. Chahub and Best are 10x better here. This has to be a competent director.…
I've seen Skinship and enjoyed for what it was. And I will agree that their acting is marginally better here, but unfortunately, I still stand by my remarks. There was a lot of hype for this series but the first look left much to be desired quality wise!

I was excited for this but after spending 43 minutes trying so hard not to click away or cringe-pull my hair out, I'm not sure anymore. Now, don't get me, wrong folks -
Location: Breathtaking, beautiful, I wanna go there ASAP Main cast: Absolutely good-looking, attractive together, 10/10
But holy hell, uh...
Plotline: Extremely rushed and very unbelievable (Meet > stalk each other > chummy > alcohol > drunk > consent, who's she? > bed > morning after > can I get yo LineID like ??) Characters: One dimensional and pretty shallow the both of them Acting: Stilted and awkward to the max (who's directing this grade school play? also I wanna deck the front desk person) Dialogue: Nonsensical and cliche
I hope this series takes its time with the other 12 episodes and gets 1000% better. If it doesn't, I'll be dropping it like a hot rock and saving my short lifespan on this crazy blue marble. I feel like I shouldn't have terribly high expectations for BL dramas as it's still an evolving industry (and rife with well-known problems), but this one truly disappointed me.
