I feel Anna is like a kid who were trapped in a woman's body, her mental is not grown yet, she is still a lost kid like she used to be. I don't see any difference when I see Yoona as Anna & that little kid as little Anna. Thus, I don't feel she is compatible with Je Ha, their mental state is not the same/they just don't match, it's like seeing a man with his kid. While with Yoo Jin I see her as an equal person next to Je Ha, they're both mature person with dark past & their chemistry is electrifying, I can see how well they could heal eachother's wound & completing eachother's flaw. I don't know what direction is this drama heading to, but seeing the past 6 ep I can see they're lacking on the development of the romance department, first with Ranaia (came out of nowhere) & then with Anna (ramen & CPR kiss), seriously both Je ha & Anna are too overreacting over a ramen, & why romantizing over a CPR, do they think once they kissed the romance will be settle? LOL. I hope they'll seriously work on this asap otherwise I can see this drama will go downfall. I hope they won't go down that route though #fingerscrossed
Best scene: Umbrella scene, Jeha-Yoojin's heart to heart conversation on ep 6, Jeha saves Yoojin from the burning car, Anna's & Yoojin's tears while Anna is singing amazing grace & the singing itself.
Worst scene: Jeha-Anna's ramen CF & their overreacting, romanticized CPR kiss, Anna's crying on the roof acting (feel fake to me.)
I think Anna is a good and pitiful character that adds to the story, but the relationship aspect with Je Ha kind of ruins it for me. I'd rather this drama had no romance at all to be honest. There are so many emotions here that a "typical kdrama romance" would just downgrade the quality IMO!
Side note: Am I wrong in thinking that the chest compressions part of CPR is more important than mouth to mouth? Shouldn't he have done that instead? Or at least as well? Not hating, but this romance is hella forced!
hmmmmm.... Is this drama slice of life? I don't really like those types of dramas. I can't really tell what I'm…
It is far too heavy to be considered slice-of-life. It's more of a human drama. One of the heroines, an elementary school teacher, notices that her student is a victim of domestic violence. Having experienced painful childhood herself, she makes a decision on a whim to take the little girl and become her mother. They escape together, and throughout the story they are forced to continuously run from the authorities, the biological mother, and various emotional factors of both of them. It does show their daily life, but it is intense and keeps the viewers on edge. You can almost say it has a sense of adventure, one imbued with suspense and constant anxiety. It is one of my absolute favorite j-dramas, but it is not one I want to revisit. Whenever I see any actor from it in a different show, I feel like I just watched Mother again. But I'm rambling. Hope I answered your question.

i'm not going to waste any more of my time with this drama. i think i'll just follow the commentaries or dramabeans recaps to see what happens with the second leads. so dumb oops
To tell the truth... I'm just ending up watching the second leads story line rather then the main lead. I don't find it that interesting where the story is taken to the military, it's even More Awkward watching the main lead, not in a good way. There are some funny scenes of the other actors.
I gave it 4 episodes just because I like to give every show a fair shot but holy shit this is boring. There is like no plot, no chemistry between the main characters, and the love in here is so cliché!! Better just call it Cheese of the sun. Great cast and there are people saying that the medical, millitary genre is unique? Millitary equals war and war equals causalities that are being treated by...doctors. I don't want to ruin anyone's watching experience but I just had to say after I read so many comments about how great and unique this was.
I don't know what state this show is in right now. Too much over-dramatic expressions and characters stuck in 1 place. They are concentrating too much on romance part and even that has almost failed by now. They are kind of repeating the 1st 2 episodes actions again and again. Right now show clearly is overhyped and overrated.
Next episode again is more forced drama and girls crying everywhere.
Characters haven't got any development after 1st few scenes and i production team is spending money on locations and PR without minding the real story or plot, if exist any.
The only good thing going on is Music and songs.
I have given it 9 for now but if this continues then 5-6 will be the final score.

Jae Ha and Yoo Jin's scenes are so intense! :O
