They are shitting on her cause apparently a shy girl like her can't be a recognized good reporter or survive in such a hostile environment. They want a strong character not a meek shy one. What's wrong with shy girls? 🥲

I know Bai Jiu's admiration for Zhou Yi Chen has been pointed out weirdly sometimes. Still ZYC treats Bai Jiu like a younger brother. So it's fine. Personally, I had a brother who I admired as a person. So it doesn't feel weird to me at all. And the drama itself isn't BL. It's just there's more chem between ZYC and ZY than ZY and WX. But ZY and WX are the established couple. So it can't be called a BL.

Someone asked me why I like this drama if I am not a BL shipper. Excuse me? The plot? The OSTs? The visuals? It was freaking amazing.

I love Zhuo Yichen. Still the ML and FL should have been highlighted. But Wen Xiao as the FL got no attention or development at all. They should have focused on her character too. The relationship between ZY and ZYC is better than ZY and WX. It feels a little off. (Just my opinion tho)

yes every other character except her had some development. She is mortal, but she is still a goddess. She should have something unique or at least contribute to the group. If they wanted to highlight her knowledge, they should have done it properly. She seems useless.
