does everyone in thailand has got license to kill?also i luv luv daou and offroad but this series is not what…
Istg, I was thinking the same. Like, in circles like that nobody really reports anything because exposing someone else would mean exposing themselves too. It’s all mutual dirt. And they’re literally rich people with a healthcare monopoly and connections with the government… of course they’d get away with it lol. Once you see that, the whole “revenge instead of calling the police” thing makes way more sense.

I also like to think of it as the whole “when a politician who openly throws shade at the ruling party suddenly dies and everyone just goes… yeah, that tracks.” Like, you question it for a second, but you already knew what kind of game they were playing.

Title Pit Babe Season 2 Spoiler
Most people mainly didn't like how stretched out the plot is and how they crammed it all into the final episode.…
Valid, I also felt like the last episode didn’t make much sense, also their double standards with Dean and Alan (😴😴). Personally I liked it because it didn’t feel like the the couples were the main plot (I mean, obviously the whole cheating thing had to do with it but yk what I mean), I just feel like there isn’t much angst series lately so I was kinda craving it lol

Personally, I think the awkardness adds to his character, you can see how he eventually starts gaining confidence with the others as they develop the relationship, I actually think he’s a great actor and knows how to personify different characters (not that he has much content tho). Others (not mentioning) are even cringier and hard to look at since their characters don’t change all around and usually act the same way in other series/movies.

Thank you for your kind words. I really admire the way you’ve approached this with your own mother. That line about living true to yourself is incredibly powerful, and it’s something I’ll definitely carry with me. It’s so easy to lose yourself trying to meet others’ expectations, but like you said, the person you have to live with until the end is yourself.

Life is a long journey, and while these challenges are tough, it helps to know others understand. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Wishing you peace and strength on your journey as well. ❤️

For a bit I thought you wouldn't reply heh, hope you're doing great!]

I really appreciate you sharing your experience. It’s so raw and honest, and it makes me reflect a lot on these struggles. I completely agree that the weight of these issues varies depending on the cultural or personal context, and I’m sorry you had to face such a painful journey with your family. It’s incredibly brave of you to talk about it so openly.

I can relate to a lot of what you mentioned. Here in Mexico, homophobia is often tied to religion, and coming from a heavily religious and homophobic family has been its own kind of battle for me. As an atheist and a lesbian, breaking away from that lifestyle has felt like a fight for my identity and freedom.

What you said about people pretending to be open really hit home for me, it’s such a universal experience for so many of us. It’s always the people closest to you, the ones you hope will love you unconditionally, that reveal their true colors when it’s about their own family.

Talking about moms :p it’s exhausting to constantly navigate that dynamic of love tangled with expectations and control. It’s heartbreaking, but seeing these stories represented makes me feel a little less alone, even when they feel so personal.

I completely agree with you but couldn’t help but disagree with the idea of changing the central conflict. While the story is definitely about growing up and embracing yourself, I think the focus on subtle homophobia is what makes it so impactful.

If the problematic got changed to something like religion, race, or social status, it might still create an interesting story, but it wouldn’t carry the same weight. The series does an incredible job of portraying the kind of homophobia that hides behind seemingly open-minded attitudes (those prejudices that are still very real and hurtful. Coming from someone in the community who’s surrounded by these types of comments, this aspect felt incredibly raw and authentic.)

This is what makes the series so powerful and relatable for many queer people (at least to me). Changing the conflict would risk diluting the message, taking away the focus on the specific struggles of LGBTQ+ people in societies that claim to be accepting but still impose limitations.

Also, the mom reminded me of mine and got very angry every time she spoke 😍

A silly question, P'Sun asked Salin for first date in hotel on Saturday night, how come Salin need to go to work…
There are some workplaces in which employees are asked to work on weekends. This might be to cover extra hours, or it can also be that on those specific days they only need to work a couple of hours or shifts.
