I mean, i do think its valid to criticize bad dubbing, even if its part of the way china does their shows. And the criticism i have read wasnt about the show being dubbed, but being badly dubbed. ^^ i also prefer shows from other countries because of the dubbing in china. My comment should only express that the criticism isnt as valid imho, because the sound quality is fine and the dubbing doesnt look as bad as people made me believe at first.
It was actually a reason why i hesitatet for so long to start the show because i thought it would threw me off to see not matching dub, but either i am busy with reading subs or the dub matches quite well most of the time. :D so I just wanted to share my opinion in case anyone else hesitates because of what they have heard about the dub
Started this yesterday on a whim and oh my god. Its SO good. Watched 3 episodes so far and i dont get why people complain about the dub because its not as bad as people yap about. So many people complained about the sound in ep 3 but it was totally fine.
The first episode was absolutely amazing. I enjoy the calm vibe a lot. Right from the start I could relate to Azuma so much. Somehow it reminds me a bit of Love is better the second time around. Not because its similiar to the drama, but it provokes the same feelings and atmosphere in me. After being in a japanese drama slump, i feel like this one is pulling me out of it. I love the music, the acting, the smoking. The title feels so poetic and light and i look forward to the next episode so so much.
First two episodes were okay to watch. Nothing groundbreaking, but also way better than some people, who havent even watch it, trashtalk it. I hate Elsa, tho. Kids are so annoying. 💀

Its sad that shows like this give a bad reputation to microdramas in general, because there are companies out there who make excellent shortdramas. But Lovememory is definitely not one of them.
I watched this rather short episode in two sittings and the second half was definitely awkward to watch 😅 I like everything outside of the NCs way more than the awkward NC itself 😶🌫️
Ugh. The use of AI, the inability to actually serve sizzling chemistry or good kisses (fr..its not enjoyable to see the FL always acting like a cardboad cutout.. -.-), Gil Geum who just keeps screaming hysterically and the repetitive stupitity of the characters dont make the drama more enjoyable. Especially the lazy written ending..so disrespectul towards the audience.
I give this drama a generous 7/10. The cooking scenes were nice and the kitchen crew were enjoyable. I wouldnt recommend the drama because they use AI. I didnt know this before starting it, unfortunately.
I am not a fan when FLs are written like this. I want strong, confident and SMART characters. She is not just slow, but also gullibe and so awkward when it comes to the romance with the king. UGH. Hopefully one day the writers stop writing female leads like stupid little girls who can only look pretty, but dont have any depth or confidence. And NO, the opposite of this arent arrogant characters like the annoying btch in alchemy of souls xd (i watched 2 episodes so far, but oh my lord, unbearable.)
