I think you got the couples wrong. The cousin in red (ep 2) is Gu Leng. He doesnt end up with Wen Hai. The second part of the synopsis is about him. Wen Hai ends up with the dude that wears glasses (Gu Huai Zhou) and they share the same father. Hence the same family name and hence why Gu Leng explains that his father is connected through his sister to the family, so they dont have blood relation, but they also dont become a couple.

There are more than only two kisses. And how can someone complain about too much plot?! xD Fr, people are so weird. One complains about a missing plot, you complain about too much plot. This show is not romance-focused bc the whole curse and city is in the focus. Not every "romance" drama is full of romance or romance-only, especially when there is an actual plot happening besides their relationship development.

Also, imho, there are plenty of romantic scenes. The kissscenes dont look like he feels uncomfortable at all. They have a nice chemistry, so its kinda weird to spread such rumours without backing them up with first hand sources.

I felt the same. My memory isnt that good (its fkkn bad lol) and i watched the pilot when it was released, but watching the trailer today i felt like the pilot was way darker. Then i went back to the pilot and was like "yh ok wtf did they just changed everything interesting about the story??"

There are sadly more than enough countries where its NOT okay to be gay and people are getting killed for it.

And its not the fault of homosexuals that people find it weird to marry inside the family. People won't be more accpeting of family marriage, even if homosexuals would nowhere be accepted. They don't take away anything from you, they are not the reason people find family marriage weird.

I am currently watching episode 12 and i wonder what the mafia plot is actually for, because it really sounded like the plan of killing him would be a big part of the drama. Instead we have a childish bestie of the brand "idc if he wants me, a relationship with someone who would rather be with someone else is my dream!" (Uhm, Kim U Ju, is that you?!?!?!) and the cliché annoying (ex) fiancé (who could end up together, one more annoying than the other xd). The crumbs of the second couple amuse me, but i also have to admit that i continued from ep 9 on and forgot most of the rest before. I took a loooong break before deciding to finish this today. 😂

For me, it feels so empty. So..shallow? There is just nothing that keeps me engaged or makes me want to watch the next episode. I am not curious about them at all 😭 Although they are indeed cute together and the perfomance is decent.

Everytime people complain about fake incest, i crave a real incest BL, just for those fckers to be even more gagged. 😂

Lack of communication is such an annoying trope. I dont know why people should enjoy it when characters chose to not communicate with their partner x.x its just an unnecessary problem which could be easily solved and tbh imho most dramas would be way more interesting if the characters wouldnt lie to each other and actual talk with e/o and solve problems together.

Im always sad when actors share how everyone put so much work into this project, when it turned out this bad. Really disappointed from this drama although the beginning was really good.

People drop it or dislike it because its just frustrating and annoying. The main points of this drama are lying and lack of communication and this is something that doesnt change. The leads lie to each other through the whole series, the side characters are hella annoying, there are so many plots opened and not concluded that well. And sure, thats subjective, but it was also boring as hell at some times.

Ended up rating this drama with a 5. Its not super horrible, but i also wouldnt recommend it. Its really frustrating to watch.

Oh my gooood, i am just watching how the ex threats her again. I hate how he keeps grabbing her arm etc. How can she be nice to him after all he did to her??? 😭

Yup, i mean, he was pretty scary before he hurt his hips in her house xdd but it was obvious that she wasnt scared of him. She said herself that she felt guilty..for whatever reason.
