Did you watch the drama with your eyes and ears closed? Every couples situation and personality is different. In this case, the main couple took a break then moved on together after realising how much they mean to each other but Ae ra completely destroyed her husband because he didn't really love her. Every couple has different situations. Don't group them all into one when you don't understand anything.
