I liked that drama very much but I don't think Hyun Bin as that hot xD So, I didn't like it because of some hotness ;) I just liked the story itself very much since it was one of my first kdramas back then ;) So, as to answer that question ^^

Oh my, I totally agree with the characters here. That's what I loved the most in this drama.
As for the first 5 episodes... Well, I didn't find them boring, tbh ;) Because they gave me a chance to get to know the characters better and to understand how and why they changed so much. It gave me an opportunity to accompany them right from the start and not being thrown into the middle of something ;)
Ahh, the last one is the most difficult. I haven't succeeded yet. I'm always talking about it but the biggest hindrance are the subs. Since most real life people I know would maybe come to like asian dramas, are bad as in they don't understand one word of English. That's really frustating. I'm already at a point where I'm translating the english subs into my own language but it takes alot of time. And in the end I just end up watching the whole drama again without translating it... because I got again sucked up into the mood and anticipation for the next episode although I already know the drama.
Currently I'm at ep 20 and your review just speaks my souls (or however you may call it). Those exaggerated reactions of the moms make me so angry and frustrated, everytime they have a scene. Esp. since nobody seems to care about the fact as to just say what's bothering them, so that they can actually solve the problems and everyone can be a bit more carefree...

I'm like you. I almost passed by it if there weren't some people who were so obessed with it and made me curious. I wasn't familiar with the cast either, except Park Min Young. So I'm very surprised by it, but I totally love it! I'm not done with it yet, just finished ep 10. So, I'm happy I still have some episodes left to watch xD
Totally agree with you here. It was one of my first dramas ever back then and it impressed me alot. After that I searched for (like) eternity to find something similar to it but just couldn't find anything.
It's my second time TRYING to watch this drama but apparently I REALLY can't make it to the end.... WHY?
Maybe it's too early? I watched it now for a 2nd time and finished it. Didn't get bored at all since I couldn't remember the whole story anymore. First time I watched it was when it was aired. Since then some time has passed and now I was able to enjoy it a 2nd time ;)
