Everybody kept saying the anime is better, but I've watched almost 30 episodes and I still think the drama is…
@Lovely I completely agree with you on all counts!

Funny, I enjoyed this so much, I started watching the anime to continue the journey. And now I seriously think…
Same here! I actually prefer DC to Soul Land as well. The characters are richer in the live-action drama and I felt much more of a connection than I did with the anime.

This is my top favorite drama ALL TIME #1. I just hope they will air the second season soon because I really don't…
The ending was brilliant to keep the spectacle secondary and have the characters be at the forefront. The payoff was the apex of the emotional arc between 唐三 and 小舞 which, in addition to the bildungsroman of 唐三, is the true story and driving motivation for this first season. It is clear that the entire season was written as an expository one with intentional unanswered questions and unresolved threads to lead to another season. The writer/adaptor fashioned this in direct consultation with the author. This is all ultimately about character- and world- building. The dream-sequence, both physical and metaphorical, bookending the season is genius. Very David Lynch in inspiration and execution,
