With iu, that’s probably because she started as an idol soloist, and most people still see her as one out of habit. Not exactly... from what i understand In kpop, “idol” isn’t so much about a music genre.. just like how "kpop" isn't a genre but an industry.... it’s the whole training system, image, and lifestyle idols have to follow. So it’s more about how they’re managed and presented than the type of music they make.... for example Lim Young woong do you think he's an idol or just a singer??

no one said iu stopped making music and also she’s a solo singer... not an idol in the kpop system anymore. She kinda started out that way sure, but she’s evolved into way more than that and crosses age groups and markets now..,.. and yes jisoo’s the only one on that list still considered an active idol. this happens in a lot of places to be honest… I read manhwas and mangas just like I love watching kdramas, and people there do the exact same thing. They hype themselves up over some version of the story that only exists in their head, and then rate it low or complain when it doesn’t deliver that instead of judging what’s actually in front of them
Nonetheless, imma let this stack up episodes and give it a try. I’m currently watching Law and the City and I lowkey regret starting it early 'cause now I’m stuck waiting every week 😅

I honestly had no expectations—I was just planning to watch it since I’m off today, plus there’s romance and it stars Dong Wook and Sung Kyung. But man, that rating is something else. I don’t usually care if it’s around 7.8 to 8.3, but 7.2 is wild
