Comparing American shows, which often boast multiple seasons and episodes, to Kdramas, where second seasons are a rarity and episodes are usually limited to around 16 or fewer, seems a bit unfair but I understand your point about the appeal of longer, character-driven dramas like Korean costume drama.... 8 eps is just how it is here so give them a chance it might turn out good
