I have seen two other dramas of this director, and they were actually pretty good. But why does it look like a rookie directed this. The writing is not the best.. but the biggest flaw of this drama is the editing.

Both Extraordinary You and Lovely Runner showcased her acting skills (and got a lot of praise from critics). It's just when it comes to romcoms, they only care about the ML .. and if the FL is pretty enough...

No, it’s bc of Lunar New Year which is a big holiday in Korea.

Im Sol is a bubbly emotional person, but Eunho is a sassy, rude Gumiho that looks down on people and deals with greedy clients. Im Sol only cares about Sunjae but Eunho only cares about herself. Not the same, but Eunho is more similar to Joy and Hyeyoung than Im Sol or Danoh. Her face is expressive bc she doesn't hide her disdain of people.

As for the kiss scene, she’s a motae solo so the kiss looks a little awkward and she was taken aback. It’s not like the kissing scene ep 8 in LR. The dynamic is totally different.

If you plan on watching it, it begins with a bad start (especially the first three eps), but every episode gets better and better. And don’t think of romance as its main theme, the romance is a slow burn.

Winter olympics have started. Other drama ratings have decreased as well. Korean athletes were even competing when these dramas were aired.

Last two eps were the best so far! Eunho is such a character. In ep 7 telling KSY's teammates that they are going to get married and the beginning of ep 8 were so funny. She's not asking KSY to date her, she's demanding it. She's dating as a hobby, not because she likes KSY. And KSY is just going along with it but secretly liking it.

The romance is a slow burn, but I'm enjoying it. I like how natural their relationship has developed. Their dynamic is so refreshing. Sad that there's only four eps left bc we need more of their dating era :(

I have some issues with the directing though. They could've easily changed the script and let the actors eat inside.. there was no need to film them eating outside on the rooftop. It looked super cold. Also, some angles are unflattering and they could've paid more attention to KHY's hair. It looks untidy in certain scenes.

next week is Lunar New Year, and last four eps will air the following two weeks after that.

I haven't seen PY, but there isn't an annoying 2ML. It has some tropes, but I find the way their relationship develops very refreshing and natural. It's not the yearning or I just met you but I'm already willing to risk everything for you kind of trope. The main leads bicker a lot and the romance is a (very) slow burn, but the plot hits u with so many twist and turns that you don't really know where the story goes and it makes you anticipate the next ep.

I have to say, the first three eps were really bad bc of the editing. It's more of a prologue. If it wasn't for KHY, I probably would have dropped it. But you'll have to stick with it bc they introduce the characters. It gets so much better from ep 4 onwards, and every following ep was better than the previous one. People are hating on the FL but she's a morally grey character that speaks with a condescending tone bc she looks down on humans. She's sassy, immature and has a bad temper but some actions are understandable since she has been dealing with greedy people. She shows some character development throughout the eps. The ML is a little slow witted.

The ratings are low bc a lot of immature haters were review bombing it. They hate the lead actress...

There are several things to nitpick on.. but 8-miho literally told a big speech in front of the carousel on why she wants to become human.. Although there are no sad days, there are no happy days either. There's nothing memorable. And she wants to live wholeheartedly. A meaningful life where she would be swept off her feet, not a life where she can predict and control things. She can become a Gumiho, but it would be the same just more power.

KSY and Eunho didn't plan to go to the amusement park, 8-miho wanted to go. They never explained why she stayed in the mountains and Eunho was questioning that as well but 8-miho is kind of a dimwit..

It hasn't even been a week since he swapped fate with Wooseok and is hoping that that the situation he's in is temporary. It would make more sense to help Eunho find a way to become a Gumiho again so she can undo her spell.

I think her tone makes it not affectionate and off-putting. KHY said in an interview that she used a condescending tone bc Eunho looks down on humans (and 8miho). So there are no/little signs of endearment towards KSY. But yeah, we do need a turning point.. hopefully they will kick off the romance portion soon!

She's just very pessimistic towards humans, probably from her past interactions with them. I'm guessing she fainted from the shock as she's not used to the human body. We saw her not batting an eye when seeing ghosts as the shaman's house, but was scared at the haunted house. We don't see a lot of chemistry bc they are mostly bickering.. A bit disappointed that the romance is sooo slow as we're already in ep 6.. but I like that it's not forced.

You need to open your eyes, bc they are plenty of dramas with tall women/men. Han Hyojoo, Lee Sungkyung, Gong Hyojin, Nana, Shin Hyesun, Lee Dahee, Kim Dami, Jin Kijoo, Shin Minah, Jun Jihyun, SNSD girls.. All of them are tall and do romcoms..

And what drama advertises the height difference as "cool". Comments about their heights are made is because the height difference is just too obvious. Lovely Runner got even criticised before airing.. saying that the leads didn't match because of their height difference. BWS wasn't even first pick. Well we obviously saw the height difference was not an issue, nor was it the main factor for their great chemistry.

KHY is petite.. almost every man next to her looks tall. You're talking about body shaming yet you call KHY a midget.. The pot calling the kettle black.

If you don't like the height difference, u can watch something else. There are plenty of dramas where the ML-FL are about the same height or tall actresses that do romcoms. But just bc they are similar in height, doesn't necessarily mean they look good together onscreen.

The height difference doesn't make the heart flutter.. their chemistry together does. So why should only tall actresses and tall actors work together. We just see a lot of ML-FLs with a big height difference these days bc so many actors nowadays are around 190cm.. but not many actresses are above 170cm.

You might want a partner similar in height and you would think it would look better, but there are plenty of couples in real life with a big height difference. You're weird to see every petite woman with a tall man as a child.

Netflix uploads it later than Korean broadcast time. It ends at 11.10pm KST and it's available on Netflix around 11.30pm KST.

Geumho gave Eunho the fox bead. Eunho was showing that to Siyeol, but she can't use the foxbead's power herself. But she needs it to cultivate the good deeds for Geumho.

The plot is fun and unpredictable. So many plot twists that I don't know where the story is gonna go. Every time I come up with a new theory, it gets debunked in the next ep. The first two eps were so-so, but luckily it's getting better. And the cliffhangers make me anticipate the next episode.

But they need to tone it down with the background music and sound effects. It's distracting. Not even a couple minutes goes by without it. It's unnecessary and it's sooo loud that u sometimes can't even hear the actors talk or hear their movements.

It's a space for respectful and thoughtful discussions as well. People aren't doing that. I also like reading the comment section of a drama before I watch something and see what people's opinions are. But that's not why you're here. I don't understand why u would waste your time here if you can't stand the FL. It's a little sad if you relief stress by enjoying the criticism and malicious comments on people who have been working hard on this drama.

It's fine if you give constructive criticism, but what you're doing is not that. I also pointed out few things I don't like about the show so far, nobody batted an eye. The problem is not the aggresive stans, it's haters like you who seem obsessed with KHY and can't move on. Bc really.. why are you here again if you don't like her..

What you're doing is just spreading hate. You already said you can't stand the FL. So why are you here AGAIN if you don't like KHY or the show? You've said your word, drop the show and move on.
