So for these release dates, does this mean I will be able to watch the movie in the theatres? (I’m in Canada)
Yes! I saw some fans sharing it on X. It's expected to be released in Cineplex? in Canada. They might announce more later on since I just saw that they added more theatres for USA, with a special screening on April 16.
The movie just got released in theatres in Korea so it won't be available on streaming services soon..

I'll add more when more countries are announced (if I don't forget).
My observation is that when an actor starts explaining his role, the drama fails and the audience is dissatisfied.…
These type of questions are quite common for interviews after the drama has finished airing. He's explaining how viewed his character and how he tried to portray it. Whether the viewer agreed with him or not is up to them. But I actually think his comment about his character was better than what the writers came up with.
Personally, I don't see any reason why she should remain a nine-tailed fox, especially when everything is taken…
It fixed the twisted fate problem but KSY was still fated to die at an early age due to the heart disease. It was GH that used almost all her spiritual powers for him. So maybe EH uses her spiritual power for GH to pay her back?
But yeah, creative storyline, but bad writing. It had sooooo much potential. They really wasted the casts' acting skills..
it was fine. If anything I found it odd how much the other fox changed from wanting to be human asap to not caring
She wasn't even in a hurry to become a nine tailed fox, that's why she gave her fox bead to Eunho and let her work to gain spiritual power. She wants to become human eventually, but it doesn't need to be asap. She's also low on spiritual power for helping KSY, so I don't think she can even become human yet.
Personally, I don't see any reason why she should remain a nine-tailed fox, especially when everything is taken…
Oh I agree with you, I'd would be more satisfied with the ending if she became human.
But EH had to become a gumiho to change SY and WS's fate. And perhaps the heartbreak of KSY (almost) dying in her arms was too hard for her to handle, so she'd rather stay a gumiho.
She also said that during that moment, she didn't care what happened to her if she could save him. And she didn't like that. He became her world, but she doesn't want to live for someone else, but for her. I don't think that's completely selfish or that she hasn't learned anything. The way she would grant wishes and how she view humans would probably be different.
And they are still together. At least she would be able to protect him when he gets hurt or sick with her powers. He will die eventually.. but it might be easier to accept in 60 years.
It might not be the typical happily ever after, but it's an ending that they are satisfied with.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the ending.. but I'm also not dissatisfied.
The ending is basically the manhwa they showed in the beginning where she made the writer change the ending. Instead of dying with the lover, the girl chooses to live on.
Some might think she should've stayed human, but she had to become a gumiho to change WS and SY's fate. And by staying a gumiho, she can help SY, who's fate was to die at an early age. At least they can be together and she also has Geumho now, so she won't be lonely.
The head kisses were cute but I hate that, againnnn, they cut the kiss scenes so short.. with another awkward shift to the next scene.. And cut the almost-second-kiss scene for comedy. Does the director hate romance? They cut off entirely wrong scenes..
Also.. where are the pictures of them wearing white in the Poster Making bts. They shot it at the same location where they had their date and never released it..
I feel Lomon and Kim Hyeyoon suit other genres more than romance. Kim Hyeyoon goes well with romance + comedy…
I think they both (can) do romance well. But they needed better directing and editing. It's Lomon first romance drama. His eye acting was good, but the skinship was a little awkward at times. And from the (small) snippet of the first kiss scene in the bts, it looked like KHY did more directing and cared about the angles than the director. I also saw some edits of scenes comparing NTTT with LR, and the angles looked much better in LR which made it look more heart fluttering.
This drama had soooo much potential. I really like that it doesn't have the typical kdrama tropes and cliches.. but it looks like the production team is made out of rookies.
From the directing, editing, camera angles (can they stop filming LM from right below the chin), the forced sounds effects/BGM, the colour grading to the styling (I've never seen them fix KHY's hair or clothes).. and even the bad posters.. the production team ruined what could've been a really good drama.
I need KHY and Lomon in another project because this drama wasted their potential. Too little romance scenes to showcase their chemistry. The kiss scenes are too short. Even the bed scene was less than a minute. And when they shift from the bed scene to KSY's friends exercising.. the shift is so abrupt and didn't flow well, so it immediately cut off the romance.
Even though it might not be the best drama.. KHY, LM, Choi Seungyoon and Lee Siwoo, and the creative storyline(although the writing is lacking sometimes) made this drama still enjoyable to watch.
The plot that should’ve been developed earlier was shoved all the way to the finale, and I can’t believe how…
well the Korean title is literally Human from Today Onwards and English title is No Tail to Tell.. so it makes sense that she's not a gumiho but human most of the time. The way they promoted it was wrong though.. FL was barely a MZ gumiho, ML was hardly narcissistic and romance shouldn't have been its main genre.
With two episodes left and a million things happening all over, I don’t know how they’re going to give justice…
KSY barely had a character growth. He was only narcissistic for like one ep? and it wasn't even that bad. EH growth is slow, but it's there. She goes back at being feisty bc she sees the greed in WS. But before, she would only help other people when it benefitted her. If she would have found that black card sooner, she would spend it on herself and not on KSY's grandma or football friends. And she wouldn't have cared who 8miho likes or go with KSY to visit his grandma.
favourite moments from this week's eps: - Rooftop scene - AC scene - black caaaarddddd~ - EH imitating KSY and sounding like shin-chan - 8miho eating jjajangmyeon
If they treat romance as a subplot.. they could've at least shown us more scenes of EH and GH. Both are good at comedic acting and they are so funny together. Again.. so much wasted potential.
The scene with 8miho and KSY's friends was funny but introduced so late in the show that it feels like a filler and unnecessary. They already have so much to wrap up in the last two eps.
Since KHY's previous drama was also a romcom and she had crazy chemistry with BWS.. people are gonna compare the couples. Although it's nothing like SolSeon couple, the dynamic with HoKang couple is different since they started as enemies. There's tenderness amidst all the bickering. But, imo, the romance scenes are lacking and too short to really showcase their chemistry.
When there are moments where they glance at one another and you anticipate something will happen.. nothing happens. But when there's a romantic moment, they cut off the romantic vibe so quickly that you can't feel the romance or immerse in it.
For example: - In front of the carousel KSY says they only have each other (to worry about) > KSY's says it's bc EH is the only one to get his life back. - It looks like EH confesses to KSY > EH says KSY isn't bad looking and will treat dating as hobby (not bc she likes him) - Their romantic vibe gets interrupted by KSY's friends or they almost get hit by a bike - They finally hold hands > EH says her heart doesn't race anymore and humans are disposable
I also blame the editing team. Why did they cut the kiss scene.. It was a longer kiss in the bts.. They also shared a snippet of the scriptbook of ep 9's ending where KSY gives EH a peck before cupping her cheeks which they cut out of the ep. They could've included that instead of needing 20 secs of them staring into each other and they don't kiss bc they get interrupted by KSY's friends.
What I like about this drama is the plot and the unpredictability.. but I wish they had better writers, and a different director and editing team.
