One thing I don't understand about episode 8. What was 2ML mad about? He had no reason to be mad in that situation.
He still likes her and she keeps allowing him into her life without setting any boundaries. Not telling him that she's in a relationship with her ex from 10 years ago is a red flag and he has every reason to be upset with her.
Not telling your ex/business partner that you're in a relationship is a big red flag. And then she proceeds to drink alone at night with him to the point that she needs to be tucked into bed is borderline emotional cheating. At this point, it's best for FL and ML to not end up together.
Changing the cast will be unfair to So Hee. People just hate her for being outspoken. She did nothing wrong, except…
The problem lies in the Dispatch article featuring staged photos from Hawaii. People discovered that HSH has ties to Dispatch, highlighted by the fact that she is the only celebrity to have received a coffee truck from them. The same person who wrote that article flew to Hawaii, found them within a day, and took those photos right in front of them. Dispatch seems to be portraying Hyeri in a negative light, depicting her as a delusional and obsessed ex. I don't think the situation would have escalated as much if she hadn't responded with the dog picture on her ig story. I don't think this casting was confirmed by either party, so unless she and RJY can repair their reputations, I think the roles will go to someone else.
Let us not only mourn his tragic departure but also reflect deeply on the circumstances that led to the loss of this extraordinary talent. Lee Sun Kyun, a gifted actor who graced us with his profound artistry, has left an indelible mark on the world. His performances, filled with nuance and depth, brought the complexities of human nature to life.
However, the final chapter of his life was marked by relentless and merciless public and media scrutiny, a witch hunt that spared no regard for his dignity as a human being. Despite repeatedly asserting his innocence and enduring exhaustive interrogations, including a 19-hour session and a request for a lie detector test, Lee Sun Kyun was hounded by allegations of illegal drug use. This intrusive and unforgiving spotlight, fueled by sensationalist media and a judgmental public, contributed to an unbearable environment for him.
Koreans need to cast a critical eye on their society. How did they allow the relentless pursuit of scandal and sensationalism to overshadow the basic tenets of empathy, privacy, and fairness? His story is a scathing indictment of a culture that often forgets the humanity of individuals in the public eye.
Lee Sun Kyun's untimely departure is a stark reminder of the destructive power of unfounded speculation and public persecution. It calls for collective introspection and a commitment to uphold the dignity and mental well-being of every individual, regardless of their status.
Lee Sun Kyun, in your life, you brought us unforgettable stories and characters. In your passing, you leave us with a poignant narrative about the darker side of fame and the consequences of a society obsessed with sensationalism. Your legacy will not only be the art you created but also the conversation you have sparked about compassion, respect, and humane treatment of those in the public sphere.
Farewell, Ahjussi, not just to the artist but also to the man you were — a man who deserved more understanding and less judgment. I hope your memory can be a guiding light towards a more empathetic and just world. Rest in peace. Your story will not be forgotten.
There should've been a trigger warning for the final episode. SA and mass shooting was horrifying, I had to skip. Very disappointing part 2. Wish I never watched it.
This has some of the worst hard science I've ever seen in sci-fi. Did the showrunners forget moon has 1/6th the gravity of Earth? The entire tension of the first episode is from things falling which is defying lunar gravity. Panting while lunar jogging which is nonsense. Movement requires significantly less effort and carrying an injured person should be easy because that's how lunar gravity works. And as soon as they enter the station, they have gravity. They have artificial gravity but still need rockets lol. This is not a sci-fi show. It's drama using sci-fi as backdrop.
The chief dying was very unnecessary. The water is about to break through and you have a murderer that is clearly delirious and dying speak for a whole 5 mins. Where is the urgency? Shoot the man in the head. These characters are so dumb it was frustrating to watch.
lol South Korea is not a communist country. Moon Jae In's administration isn't screening kdramas. It's ultimately…
The petition is to show how many people oppose the airing of the drama. They are not going to censor because that's not how a democratic government works.

???? South Korea is a democracy not a communist country like China. What do you think democracy means? I'm fully with you though that this drama should be taken off, all I'm saying is that the blue house will not be the one to pull the plug.
The blue house is the responsibile now about the fate of this drama so everyone here should chill and stop be…
lol South Korea is not a communist country. Moon Jae In's administration isn't screening kdramas. It's ultimately up to the broadcasting network. The court of public opinion is the most crucial element and currently it's not looking good.
People parroting that it's fiction don't understand why a lot of people are angry or just choose to remain ignorant. History distortion is not just fiction, it's propaganda. This drama takes place in 1987 when nationwide protests were held by college students and the authoritarian government of the time, led by Chun Doo Hwan was jailing and torturing these students on the premise that they were North Korean spies. You also need to understand that Chun Doo Hwan lived a luxurious life afterwards and never apologized for any of his actions. He recently died just a month ago.
Now the ML profile states that he is a North Korean spy that has infiltrated SK as a college activist. This suggests that Chun Doo Hwan's administration was justified in their brutality and is a direct slap in the face to the victims that gave their life for democracy.

They are also calling for JTBC on their board to take the drama off air. You can see it here: https://tv.jtbc.joins.com/board/pr10010030/pm10010294

Sponsors are pulling out one after another. I think it's just a matter of time now before they cancel it.
