(just finished ep. 49, onto the 50s... I have so much to do irl but I can't stop watching lol......)
-ugh, I still can't forgive Ruoyu and I just don't like his character. I thought he was good at first, and then he became such a freaking traitor, and even though his sister died after all of this, I don't feel remorse for him -Xiao Yinghua, get a grip, as if you could ever earn a slight bit of romantic affection from SF -YBY's acting is so good in the scenes where she's lamenting over her mistakes, she really expresses how painful it is when you realize you've wronged someone. It really is such an obsessive emotion, always tugging at you. -SF, I wish I could just hold the poor man. He's gone through far too much... who else besides Jesus would go to such lengths of self-sacrifice for undeserving folks?????? -so many of the conflicts regarding good vs. evil reflect the American political climate these days, so many divisive issues but it's not purely black and white... this drama really gets it right!
Ratings on here are def not reflective of how good a drama is.. there are so many good ones with low ratings,…
I'm so glad you agree. everyone raved about that show and I could barely get through it. so many plot holes and inconsistencies in the storytelling. people are blinded by the high-value production and visuals. ugh idek how I pulled through to the end, the things I do for Kim Soo Hyun..
Next few episodes when XJ learn about the things SF did for XJ it was really emotional scene I literally cried..…
Omg okay... I need to brace myself for this. I usually don't cry watching dramas even though I'm a pretty emotional person, so we'll see. I did cry watching this one scene in "Under the Power" though... Legit, my heart breaks every time Sifeng gets hurt, which is like 75% of this show TTTTTT
Ratings on here are def not reflective of how good a drama is.. there are so many good ones with low ratings, and horrible ones with high ratings because of celebrities' fanbase. This drama gets a 10/10 from me and It's Okay Not to Be Okay would get like a 6.5 max, but it has a 9.2... it is what it is =p
(on ep 47 when XJ stabs SF after HC forces the sword into himself)
Wow, okay, at this point, I'm pretty frustrated with Sifeng. I get his heart, but at the same time, him playing the noble idiot time and time again is just not doing much good... every time he lies intending to protect XJ, she just becomes more distrusting of him. Ofc this is just the story, but the dishonesty, even for the sake of protection/justice, is just too much. And maybe things could've worked out better if it weren't for HC's manipulative meddling, but ugh, SF should've played it a bit smarter. I'm so heartbroken for him..... 12 more eps, I'm a bit nervous for the climax, getting emotionally rekt from watching this show (but also can't stop bc it's so good TTTTTT).
Woooooooooooooow, Hao Chen, you sly dog. I've had it with him!!!!! Was gonna let him slide because he's so handsome but WOOWOWOW this despicable manipulation has gone too far
I know a lot of ppl didn't like Xuanji in the beginning when she lacked her 6 senses, but with all the angst later on in the drama, I wish we could go back to those simpler times in the beginning lol... -_______- heartbreak pretty much every episode in the 2nd half..
also, how does one get over being obsessed with Sifeng???????
