why is Fu Yun Xi standing on the side of the deceased in the ending š«¤you need to be patient and watch this til the very endā it ties the story together nicely. Kudos to the leads! a record-worthy addition to their acting career.
Team Groove + JL, is undeniably the most bankable choice when it comes to versatility, song delivery, and marketability. It would be such a missed opportunity if only a few members from Team Groove are selected. Lee Changsub was spot on when he told JL that he should join a team that can help him harness his voice as a true weapon. Team Grooveās success is a testament to Changsubās exceptional mentorship. He has an eye for recognising talent and knows exactly which members have what it takes to thrive in the industry for the long haul.
both are different type of characters. duke in novel is like this. fancy, beautiful, sassy and charming. ling…
couldn't agree more! a true testament to their acting skills. Don't get me wrong, I adore Ling Bu Yi, and Wu Lei is still my #1, but Duke Su is definitely a bias wrecker at this point. I suppose his edge is that he could fly š¤£
Xing Yue doesn't merely portray Duke Su ā he breathes life into him. If there were ever a character that could elevate an actor's status and set his name in stone, then Wang Xing Yue's portrayal of Duke Su is that character.
I thought Wu Lei as Ling Bu Yi (LLTG) was the GOAT, but Duke Su's chiseled features, piercing gaze, and beautiful rich baritone take the cake. Not just a ruthless schemer and aristocratic strategist, he exudes charm and radiates an aura of power.
If the writers intended to create a complex love-hate relationship, then they have missed that mark. Eun Ho and Na Eon, obviously share undeniable physical attraction by the way they look at each other. If Eun Ho has been harboring deep-seated resentment towards Na Eon then his jealousy and possessiveness towards Jung Woo highly contradicts that. Na Eon, despite her seemingly good intentions, comes across as power-hungry and manipulative. If this was supposed to be a revenge drama, they should have opted out of the āsteamyāinteractions between the two leads because itās such a toxic relationship. The only fitting conclusion is an open-ended finale.
Kudos to Song Ha Yoon who played Jung Soo Min for her villainous tour de force and helping create such a diabolically memorable character, very few dramas can engage the audience to make them come back for more.
Her character's backstory served as an effective narrative in creating the perfect narcissist persona. This resonates in reality because many of us can encounter narcissists among those closest to us, including friends and sometimes even family members.
So, the moral satisfaction in that finale, witnessing her downfall was just *chef's kiss*
4 episodes of build-up with home invasion scenes, and just when anticipation reached its peak, ep7 comes in with a ridiculous out-of-nowhere twist. I get that he's probably scared of being a stalker but in the guise of aiding the ML, why the hell would a key witness break a window when he could have taped that damn usb on the door and made a short note to explain, this episode was just carelessly thrown in because they couldn't figure out how to end that villain side-story. I hope the writers come to their senses and save this drama please.
Maybe Jingman staged his death to shut down the entire mercenary operation. They can't be running away from Babylon and defending themselves all their lives that's why the house was remodeled as a fortress in the first place. Pasin leaving is probably in Jingman's cards as well.
Episode 5 >> I love an overconfident white sparrow, asking a man to accept his fate and just bear a child for her š¤£... a strong female and male lead is an amazing combination. A man who shows respect towards a woman, regardless of her assertiveness in pursuing him is even more attractive. I love this series already!
Woo Hakās mother was frantically crying when he woke up with amnesia, so my guess is Bo Geol must really be Ki Ho. When Ki Hoās father found out he lived with Woo Hakās family, he must have tried to take his son back and Woo hak might have gotten hurt protecting Ki Ho from that lunatic š¤¬
After ep 14 and the tower scene, I'm wishing Zho Zhi Wu ends up with Hua Quian ... since ZZW is not the emperor in this drama, maybe the writers can change the ending? please? š„¹
I normally don't like melodramas and skip on a lot of the scenes, but this drama is such a treat, each episode really opens up so much emotion. The character development is so compelling, and the timing is spaced out enough to build up tension and anticipation. The cinematography is amazing, with the camera focusing on the actors' raw emotions, allowing the audience to feel every moment with them. The silent and slow scenes are particularly immersive, making you feel like you're in the same room as the actors.
I'm genuinely worried about Woo Joo, especially considering how fragile Dong Jin seems to be right now after opening up to her. It's hard to imagine how heartbroken he would be if he found out that Woo Joo is the daughter of the woman his mother has wronged yet again. Dong Jin had trusted Woo Joo enough to reveal his vulnerability about how he views his mother as a source of weakness, and how she has consistently let him down. Discovering this truth could shatter his trust and lead to feelings of shame, guilt towards Woo Joo and even more frustration and anger towards his mother.
The writers are trying so hard to paint a poetic, you-and-me-against-all-odds kind of love story for the main leads but there just isn't enough traction to keep this thing going. I honestly just want Kyung Pil and Mi Kyung to at least have a happy ending and for the two mothers to be best friends til the end.

Kang In Ha's little sis is fiery and confident, I like her <3

Is it too much to ask for a happy ending now? :(
