Currently on episode 38 and Xuqin's mom is so infuriating. In the face of other, she's a good mother who raised 2 filial child. But looking closer, she is actually so cruel and manipulative. For money and power, she's using both her children. Her eyes are always so cold and blank. She literally has no love for her children. And the guts to even tell Yan chen to die or that blaming him for her losing her pride. I know she wants what's best for her children and their future, that is what a lot of parents want for their child be here, she is going at it all wrong. And to add, the father literally have no backbone. Finding out that she ruined someone child future and sat there without saying anything. Thank goodness for Zhai Miao.

I adore Shiqi. He is kind and loyal. So far, his love is unwavering. And I only want Xiaoyao with him. But then part of me love Xiang Liu too.
