I mean like yeah there's always something better but it was a show which threw light on toxic fan behaviours and how they get out of their eat to ship them. It also dealt with social anxiety and inferiority complex issues which isn't a common topic as well. It showed how someone can love you and will wait for you no matter now hard times may get. It showed how one may be UNATTAINABLE to another person just how someone else is UNATTAINABLE to them, even if they don't think highly of themselves. And most of all it showed the one who loves you will always love you no matter how you look physically. Mork liked Pi even before he changes the way he looked and continued to like him even after it. While on the other hand Mueang Nan didn't like him either way because he just simply didn't. I think it's a much more deeper message than we actually see. The right one will love you either way.
for those saying the pace being slow or the ending being not understandable you all definitely need to explore the sci-fi genre. this isn't your regular romcom or some mafia plot with hero/heroine (or both) being happy ever after. the slow pace and open/confused endings are the charm of sci-fi works. this was sooo good i loved it ngl, looking forward to season 2 :))

There is this Nigerian saying "Monkey dey work, Baboon dey chop". Which literally means while the Monkey does all the work, the Baboon enjoys all the benefits. I hope this is not the case with these three (Daon, Shinwoo and Taegyeong). The way things are going, It seems to me that while Shinwoo will be the one to stay by Taegyeong's side and support him through his period of heartbreak. Daon after learning of what Sohee did might later regret his decisions and end up confessing to Taegyeong. Taegyeong might forgive him and accept him and Shinwoo ends up alone. Like I had no preference for either Daon or Shinwoo in terms of who I want Taegyeong to end up with but at this point, if my theory ends up being correct it would be terrible. Shinwoo can't do all the work and end up being left in the cold, no, that's unfair. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened in a certain Kdrama I watched earlier this year. I hope that is not the case in this situation. 🥺
I'm sorry if my thoughts aren't same as yours or anything else but seriously I just don't want the whole stepbrothers' relationship to have a happy ending at all because of how toxic and misbehaving and even dominating in a very unacceptable way the younger one here is. It's just problematic problematic and problematic. Xingsi is a grown man and needs someone who can understand him well and support him throughout not some kid who developed feelings all by himself and is now forcing it onto both of them. This will be toxicity at its highest if they end up together but if they don't then kudos to the director/writer for bringing out the harsh truths and reality of life.
