i liked the drama on my first watch, but i didn’t really appreciate it that much— until i rewatched it again and again cz i somehow could never get over the series. everytime i rewatched it, i realized new things, i realized new feelings. and i grew to love the series more and more. the series was my comfort series for almost a year.
[spoiler] like the scene during the exam when sailom passed kanghan the “susu na! i believe in you” eraser instead of giving him the answer— this, i believe, is a crucial part where kanghan realized that sailom truly believed he could do it, not just bcz he wanted to let kang pass so that grandma ging will prolong his tutoring.
also the part where kang begged the gangsters to get his bike back cz he didn’t want them to hurt sailom anymore. kanghan, who was born with a silver spoon, an arrogant kid, never backing down from anything, actually let down his head bcz of sailom. this part felt heavier when i realized what the whole scene meant.
i couldn’t help but love kangsai the more i watch the series and realized many more things.
overall, it’s a 9/10 series for me. the angst was perfect, made me cry at 4am watching it. and kangsai were cute to me. i definitely repeated ep7 a lot more than i could ever admit. they were teenagers in love haha.
