It is but just a little bit. If u read the side story of addicted then you'll know that yushi did actually become an actor and they do meet in the future. Since this isn't a collab with cha jidan, they didn't follow the same story but definitely inspired by it.

Second, the chemistry between the leads is still as good (im sure being friends since addicted helped alot) both are amazing actors. It feels natural, tho there are still 1 or 2 cheesy moments but they pulled it off really well. I especially liked the comedy timing of yushi and that 'maya he maya ha' joke by the director genuinely made me laugh. The second couple....idk i have doubts about them. Rn all my focus is on the main cp. So far really enjoyed it. Hope it keeps getting better and better. Definitely deserves more love :3

So addicted is a chinese bl series which was released in 2016 but all episodes weren't released because it got banned by the government mid release. There are 16 episodes and u can watch them all on youtube. Its by the same author of revenged love. The main characters of this series are the friends of the main characters of addicted. Same actors as well.

Its so frustrating to see nobody giving a damn about shulang. Fan xiao only wants him, he doesn't care whether shulang is willing or not. The young CEO guy only wants him to settle his score with fan xiao. His ex classmate...girl idek about him. Even that rich lady isn't much help (but atleast she's better than everyone else) Why can't anyone see how much he's suffering? I feel like even if fan xiao had just tried to be better, give shulang some space and showed genuine efforts, he would've forgiven him but now it seems like he can k*ll himself any moment.

I've read the novel, its not that complicated. While staying in the parallel world, he realized he liked the original ogami so its not even a question who he'll choose, besides the parallel world has its own kano.
