Title The Long Ballad
It doesn’t look for him, I’m pretty sure he won’t end up getting the girl either!
Poor guy! Hopefully in future acting jobs that he can get the girl.

Agree. I also noticed men wearing gloss or light lipstick. I hate it when the make up artist put too much light powder or foundation to make the actor or actresses look lighter. You can tell when you see the extra layer of powder on their face. Why can't they tone it down? Be natural for once. We are not watching Chinese opera.

I noticed her lipstick became more prominent and brighter as the story progresses, especially when Sun and Changge become closer. I think she looks more like a boy earlier on. I find her acting as a boy better than most actresses like Yang Mi who is more feminine when she played a boy.

Nope definitely not the worst. Miss the Dragon in my opinion takes the rotten cake award.

I am picking this up again after taking a break. I love the two main leads and their chemistry. Liang Jie is a very good actress. I don't like the writer's take on making her a concubine, but I see the character's growth and strength as she overcomes adversity.

Hats-off-to the producer! She did her homework to make a historical hit Cdrama for the ages. It's very rare to find a drama with all of the perfect ingredients. TLB will definitely go down in history as one of the greatest!

Agree! Love the actor not their characters. He did well playing Wu Shuyi since he annoyed a lot of us. I really love him playing a prince in The Love by Hypnotic. The drama had some many really funny supporting casts.

So the original post for GS's age is incorrect. No big deal. I didn't watch Legend of Fei. I am just saying there are older actresses pairing up with younger leading actors. Hence I mentioned ZLX and WYibo. Yang Mi also acted with younger leading actors as well. No one ever has a problem with them.

I think it's the typical mentality. No matter how good something or someone is, people will find a way to criticise…
Reba is a natural beauty. It's very hard for beautiful people, especially women to prove themselves. They have to work harder to proof that they are not just another good looking face. Unfortunately, life is this way to God given symmetric beauties in life.
