I agree. I am LMH biased I will admit and yes he is pretty cookie cutter when it comes to his roles and I do know that there are far better but he is still a good actor and it shows in works like City Hunter or Legend of the Blue Sea. (My personal favorite so I guess I am also biased here too)

Yeah he could do some improvement but he is still good. I've seen worse. Way worse.

There are many dramas where I didn't like the actors but I still watched because of the plot so yes like you said a good story can save the drama.

I usually don't like female characters like Nao because they are very annoying but Nao was different. I think she's just like any other highschool girl. She is very similar to my Japanese friend so maybe that is why I didn't mind her.
