bruh lowk xiao rou n her husband could be more transparent. in some recent eps, her husband uses the same excuse of "i was afraid that youd worry and since our thing isnt stable, i was afraid to tell you". like yes, i get it, but he told her that the first time that Xiao Rou found out about his business.

FL slapped ML because of her vow n oath. im not sure whether im correct about the 1st question, but i think it was because of the grandma. the grandma focuses on prestige and honor the most, and in the show it said that the grandmother told FL what she was supposed to do in order to keep the prestige and status of their family. it was also because those who know what happened or arent ignorant will understand why they sheltered lady yang, but those who are ignorant and dont know what happened will say that the rong family harbored a criminal, which is punishable.
wen can truly is a bad character. not like bad character in terms of cast or so, but because of his personality. wdym he 'liked' rong shangbao , but when she favored someone else, he started picking up dirt and investigating everything that lu jianglai did because his background is questionable. if rong shangbao brought in a guest, mind you, lu jianglai was there before all the male contestants came for the trial of marriage, then why would she bring in someone that she doesn't know n let them stay there for a long time? im unsure whether this makes sense in you guyses perspective, but like think about it. anyways, in the most recent ep, where wen can takes the secret note for lu jianglai n reads it, revealing lu jianglai's 'secret', he decided to unravel it where the outcome could be that rong shangbao is in a humilated situation. supposedly, he likes her too and was the actual hater for anyone that tries to be with rong shangbao, but when he was with bai yanlou, he said stuff similar to this "i've told you already. (he n bai yanlou made a bet, but bai yanlou didnt know what it was) lu fusheng is a court spy. he infilitrated the rong family with ulterior motives. yet you didnt believe me! you said i was slandering him out of jealousy, now youve seen everything with your own eyes. for a secret letter, he abandoned rong shangbao without a second thought! (lu jianglai actually DID have second guessing whether he should do which option/the outcome, so idk what ur talking abt.) i really hate wen can rn, cs over his own jealousy, he keeps trying to ruin it for ml n fl. like yes, hes caring for fl, but srsly? he can do it a lot more professional and better, but because he thinks hes all that or so, he acts so rigidly.
i love how this amnesia trope doesnt take everything away from him like the other shows. LFS still has his somewhat of a scheming personality and skills, which would typically be taken away in an amnesia trope. so glad they didnt do that with this!!
I wish HMH's name in this show could be changed cs hearing fusheng reminds me of treasure at dawn's fusheng. also, i did not expect luo to be in this show. i was like hold on, this song sounds familiar! n it was luo!
