fun fact at the end of ep 7: the scene where Kim So-Young (detective) wanted to escort Jang Myung-Sook (church lady) for her own safety, their actually siblings in real life and they act together in this drama đ±đ„°
omg that revenge in ep 2 was so satisfying. fl is so powerful and I love her already. sheâs way better than the ml in my demon. I already loved shin hye in doctor slump and in this one her acting is even better. but she does not drive that red car, in ep 1 you can see a man driving it instead haha
Another thing that bothered me is that the male lead got his conviction overturned to ânot guilty,â but thatâs it. Iâm not sure if itâs just in the U.S., but if someone served 10 years in prison, especially at such a young age, wouldnât they get compensation for it? He only got his name clearedâwhereâs the money? I wouldnât be happy with just that. If it were me, Iâd be suing everyone and getting compensation. He literally lost 10 years of his life!
After finishing this drama, Iâve got a few things to say. First off, I think this drama is seriously underrated.…

After finishing this drama, Iâve got a few things to say. First off, I think this drama is seriously underrated. I only started it because a TikTok account recommended it, and by then, there were already about 9 episodes outâI ended up binge-watching all of them in one day. It was so interesting, exciting, and nerve-wracking. The acting was top-notch, and every character was well written. You just couldnât stop watching.
The storyline was also great. I had no idea who the real killer was until it was revealed, and I liked that it wasnât saved for the last episode but came out a few episodes earlier. The only thing that really got me was the endingânot because of how it ended, but because, well, you watch this drama mostly because you sympathize with the male lead, and you want to see the perfect revenge at the end. I think he did get his revenge, but not in a satisfying way. The Congresswoman cried and didnât win, but you didnât actually see her go to jail or face any real consequences. Her husband took the cowardâs way out, which felt like too easy of an escape. He deserved more than just a goodbyeâhe shouldâve gone to jail and had his downfall be more public. As for the mastermind, the police chief, you just saw him in jail for a second. There wasnât that dramatic moment of him getting dragged away, and I felt like the others involved didnât get much of a comeuppance either. It was kind of rushedâthey were just shown in jail, and that was it. I also wanted to see more bromance between the male lead and the cop who helped him. His backstory felt short-lived and unimportant to the plot, which was disappointing. I wanted to see more depth in his character. The victimâs mother was absent most of the season, and when she found out he wasnât the murderer, her reaction was so underwhelming. Like, okay, you didnât visit him for 10 years, and now you just accept it? It felt a bit flat. The only thing I really liked about the ending was that they moved and took Su O with them (which btw is a little bit weird despite him keeping Da Eun for so long)
loved it but thought it was a little spicier. their chemistry was oozing with both male leads (the real Yeo Ha-Joon and Bok Gyu-Hyun). could have been a whole Kdrama to be fair sadly đ±â€ïžâđ„
I think this is one of the best K-Dramas released in 2024 so far. I already liked the female lead from Hometown…
and the ex and his wife, who were so important, just disappeared from her life. There was no closure for the brothers or the dad, and she was still demoted for no reason. The sister bought an apartment and never moved in, and I guess the dad just gave up for no reason. And they only gave the main couple 5 minutes to wrap things up!â
