There is so much stupidity going on, I'm just not going to drop it because it's nearly finishing. But the attorney/reporter actions at the hospital, plus those policemen all with guns, seriously... It's even more absurd than a ex-ghost now zombie that can control people.
Its a fun ride drama with two adorable and likable main leads which makes it a fun drama to watch...Im only watching…
Same! I'm only watching those three! It's funny because I don't even like the main character setup, but even through that terrible setup their chemistry is so good it's the reason I'll keep watching it.
I'll just put it out there: The drama makes no sense whatsoever it is still adorable lol Kind of frustrating, though, pretty sure my score won't get higher than 7, but it is still really fun to watch. Even though I wait every week for the episodes, I know the drama is actually garbage (the acting are helping a lot ~not Hoya tho~). lol
Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy this drama, but does any of you thought the ending was a bit... bland?…
I guess after all the good response the drama was getting (internationally as well) they got afraid maybe? People tend to hate on Great dramas with sad endings. I particularly like tragedy so... I also agree with you. All that after life with no real content to bright up the end was disappointed. I mean the plot was simple but it was really fun to watch and interesting... But the end was really disappointing. How good was Eun Tak's death and the way she accepted it with open arms? Well... I'm addicted to K dramas, but it's frustrating how they can make so many good dramas with poor endings.

Me and my friend were like making all kind of theories during the week. Maybe that's why I was a bit disappointed with the lack of complexity... I mean I can't tell it was bad. But I'm not that happy with it either.
I still don't understand why it took 9 years for him to come back. It doesn't make sense for her not to blow any fire in 9 years when she's always surrounded by candles. Even though there was not much explanation as how she regained her memories back, I can accept it was because their link was too strong, and she was visiting a place where she visit with him before to be the trigger. I mean, I did like the drama that's why it makes me more upset about the lack of complexity. EVEN more after the special and all that “in order for viewers to be able to enjoy the remaining story with more fun and ease.” ;3; Sorry for the ranting ;3;
Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy this drama, but does any of you thought the ending was a bit... bland? I watched and I was like... oh... so that... was... it... Not much excitement nor anything... I love that the pushed the final episodes forward. Last week I was really happy because of the special. I was like: OH, they need more time to prepare for the ending... They're probably making careful choices about the cuts/editing... Finally an ending that won't be rushed and bad explained... I guess I expectations were too high. Either way love the acting and the show was great. The ending didn't affect much my judgement. Kim Go Eun earned her place as my fav actress, and I'm definitely going to watch more of Gong Yoo works after there (I already liked him tho)
I like her but she definitely needs some emoting classes
and get rid of the always surprised face
Same with me. Actually even with Golden Rainbow when I saw people giving good reviews I didn't watch it because Uee was in it. But somehow I did check Marriage Contract out and I was surprised with her acting...
I'm not familiar with non-korean dramas, but I'm really disturbed by the wrist grab, and the forceful kisses.…
Okay, I'll try to make you agree with me here.
When someone is physically assaulted it would be the same as having your hair chopped by your logic. Since your body is being beaten against your will, and you'll feel humilliated and all. If we put it all those at the same level as rape how would rape be viewed like?
What if we minimize the assault? What if it's only a slap in the face? Other than chopping the entire hair, what if it was chopped only a bit? Still forcefully.
The trauma wouldn't be that serious.
Now when we are talking about rape, if we minimize and let's say there was no penetration (sorry for the graphic text right here) but still the victim is foundled and grouped forcefully. Even though the trauma is really big it's not considered rape. It's considered sexual assault (forceful kisses is consider sexual assault too). Well, I can't say I agree with the definitions, but it is what it is. So I would rather consider sexual assault as rape. And chopping ones hair as physical assault. We sure care about our physical, our appareance, but when it comes to sex there is a lot more cautiouness, our society (globally) is build with a lot of taboos involving sexy. I know there are places where woman's hair is sacred and having short hair can be humiliating. But ones sexuality is too intimate to be taking lightly, and having it forcefully taken can't be compared.
I'm not familiar with non-korean dramas, but I'm really disturbed by the wrist grab, and the forceful kisses. As for the non lip movement kisses I always thought it was kind of lack of acting skill, but I guess it makes sense to think of it as the "pureness/shyness" that asian woman are supposed to have.
I never really understood these plots where the guy threats the girl badly, as if he own her or something, and she ends up falling for him. It makes no sense for me. As for the punishment in Reply, well... I wouldn't even try to compare it to rape. Seriously. Physical abuse/ hair cut as punishment, all these can't be compared to rape. I surely am against any kind of physical punishment for kids, but I "understand" these old views of children punishment for educational purpose. Especially in asian culture. (it's really twisted tho)
As for the 'brutal love' ones.... OMFG, I'm not going close to these. Just seeing the gifs makes me want to throw up.
Still, a pretty good article.
I'm DONE with this drama seriously ! I went until ep 9 and I never seen in my entire drama life experience so…
I'm definitely watching for the acting. My friend asked me my opinion about this and I was like, OH I'm somehow hooked, but the plot... It's awful... haha
