I'm a novel reader and this is one of my favorite so it's really complicated to separate the drama from the novel in my mind. The drama in itself isn't bad but all I see is that it is a poor adaptation of the novel, it is torture 😅

In the novel, Lin Shuanghe is a classmate of Xiao Jue and He Yan (as He Rufei). His relationship with the main characters is really interesting. He appears later but follows the main characters until the end so he is really important in the novel !
The novel readers are sad that he disappeared 😔

I loved the novel and it's torture. The drama in itself isn't bad but as an adaptation, it's not that good. For example, the characters of Cheng Lisu and Lin Shuanghe basically merged together 😅 There are also several things in the backstory that are not the same. Personnaly I exepected that since it's complicated to fill 34 episodes with 272 chapters. Honestly, as a reader of the novel, it may be difficult to watch. That's the case for me

This is unforgivable ! They merged the characters of Cheng Lisu and Lin Shuanghe. Now Cheng Lisu is still Xiao Jue's nephew but also a doctor who only treats women, basically Lin Shuanghe. I really loved how clueless and cute Cheng Lisu originally is ! And Lin Shuanghe is also so interesting, it's truly a loss for us !

I hope they caught the essence of the novel and that our characters are still the same ! Really hope this adaptation is good !
