I think BFX and HFX are either 20years old or younger cause in episode 12 the first prince's advisor mentioned "it's been 20 years... you're still just as cruel". And I feel like the 1st prince was probably abandoned by his mother 20 years ago when HFX was prob born... Also given that the keep mentioning how he's at a marriage age he's probably relatively young.

I completely agree with you. I watched up to ep 30 without subs, and I felt myself being frustrated at her when AS's nanny died. If she wasn't impulsive and trusted AS then everything wouldn't have happened. But after some reflecting I realized it wasn't completely her fault. A strength of CG's that makes her such a badass FL is because she sticks by what she believes in and fights for it. Her recklessness can also be due to her not really being afraid of death anymore. She's been through so much, from her entire family dying to her uncle betraying her to her country forsaking her. This girl just can't seem to catch a break. AS's loyalty and love towards her is something she is also slowly noticing too. I couldn't help but scream when she finally called him A' Sun instead of the formal title.

Based on the recent interview videos that were released it seems that CG is going to mature and learn from all her experiences. The actress mentioned her character is going to become stronger and be a character worthy of AS's love in the episodes to come, so I'm super excited for it!

I completely agree with you. This has actually become one of my favorite C-drama! I love the strong female lead character in this drama and it's so nice to finally see the typical gender role of damsels in distress that need saving. I feel like the rating is so low and people have issues with it just because they can't get over the age gap between the leads (which personally doesn't even seem so evident - just haters imo).

Can someone explain to me the Ghost Valley? Like are the "Ghosts" actually dead and stuck in the middle between the Living and Dead World or are they a sect?

Just watched the ending briefly without subs and I wished Wu Chun showed more of her powers as the "Mother of the Earth" like where are her badass parts???? Also there better be a season 2 or epilogue series of some sort cause the ending got me so frustrated. It's just like Legend of Awakening all over again - why do Chen Xiao's characters keep dying even when she's the FL?

I'm excited and nervous about the future episodes. The first episode already foreshadows the FL losing her entire family and marrying Duke Su. Not ready for the waterfalls T^T

Yes her acting and character is sooooo much better here than in Listening Snow Tower (in my opinion)!!! I can’t believe she’s actually the same actress. I think it’s honestly the fact Listening Snow Tower’s plot and character is just written that way and I found her kinda boring tbh. In this one i felt more chemistry between her and the male lead than in listening snow tower and the plot is more interesting that I found myself rewatching the episodes. This is all my opinion but I would definitely recommend you watch this one

I feel like for this drama they only focus on the ML and FL to a point where the side characters all just feel like extras. I haven't been able to properly establish a connection with them and they have so much potential but they get killed off so easily. Already ep 28 and they killed off Gugu, Zhong tao, liuli, and now Feng she!! They all had so much potential too at this point it just feels like if u're not the ML or FL there's a chance you can die at anytime....

I finished watching this drama (skipped a lot of scenes cause so many were unnecessary) and I can say I applaud Lin Yun's acting. She manages to act natural around the 2nd ML even with the large age gap between them and I didn't cringe that bad except at the parts when the 2nd ML was being a man child. Only thing that really kept me going was Lin Yun and SWL's chemistry tbh ahhh I need another drama with them in it.
