okay after days of contemplating, i'll finally be watching this. i couldn't wait til all episodes are aired ð i really love the cdrama version of this so i would also like this for sure.

actually not that bad. pretty much expected where the story is going and not that much complicated. it also ended well plus it only has a few episodes so that's a bonus for me.. cause usually dramas with plot like this would be dragged for 40 episodes...
definitely.. cause those dramas you mentioned have high budget and the actors are of course A listers. you could easily see the difference with the cast listing & production (don't get me wrong not hating on them) and it's most likely where most actors start until they get better script+funding (or famous)

not really but honestly it will depend on how they will start the episode. it's a continuation and like a new journey of the characters. from what i've seen the trailers and teasers, they remade some parts from s1 (ig as a backstory/flashback) so you wouldn't have a hard time catching on the plot + avoid getting confused because the characters are played by different actors
finally completed lol. what a mess. li rong is stupidly annoying lmao and she's so indecisive. not talking about ep 33 but she's been like that in the early episodes. i heard she's not like 'that much' in the novel but still they made her like that so it's the plot's fault. i have no issues with zjm's acting.
meanwhile, srq still annoying until the end - regardless of whatever his character is supposed to be, like the "gentlemanly scholar shit" i still blame it on the actor because he did not portray his character well. his facial expressions needs some improvement lmao i wonder why did they even cast him to the sml role when he's still "new". anyway still a happy ending ðĪŠðĪŠ
ngl i was extremely discouraged from watching this drama because of the comments and reviews. i thought it was THAT bad, but i watched until the end anyways. it was a good watch for me, although i have to admit that i did get bored because the plot was too draggy. it took them 40 episodes when it could be completed with 30 or even 24.. the main couple are also kinda together for so long yet they still haven't solved that case ðĪĢ

this has been bothering me too, almost wanted to skip all his scenes (already skipped some). he does not portray the character well and i don't want to mask it up with nice words anymore but he's just overall bad at acting. HELP. not even his visuals can't save it because he's just poker face all of the time and it annoys me further

yeah. i thought that it's still her voice and just dubbed it, but when i saw ep 40.5 her voice is different. i assume the substitute voice was made to make it seem like a "younger" voice
