i watched this about a month ago and honestly was not expecting to love it as much as i did. i still think about it so much bc i haven’t found a good comedy kdrama in years. at first i was cringing a lot bc i felt like sometimes the comedy was too forced and they were trying too hard to showcase some of the characters personalities too quickly. but i feel like i was just too quick to judge bc i hadn’t seen a good comedy kdrama in a while and was almost trying to hate it. after a few episodes my hesitation wore off and the story also became a lot deeper. i grew to rly adore the characters and the plot! it’s actually so funny and lighthearted but also had its tearjerking moments. also icb it had 20 episodes. when i first started it i was like why tf does it have so many episodes??? but after i finished it i was practically begging for more. it’s a rly good underrated show and i hope more people watch it!
just binged this, and it was so good!! i wasn’t surprised to hear this was originally a bl which was censored bc i definitely saw hints of longing between the two male leads. also some of the dialogue was hinting at it too. the chemistry between the two leads was out of this world too wow. i decided to watch this bc ive seen whc and study group and can definitely see why people recommend it. they all have very similar bullying plots but individually the characters and chemistry are very different and it’s still unique in its own way. the ending of this kdrama also left me in shambles. gonna be thinking about this show nonstop for weeks now. overall, i just really loved the main themes and overarching message of the story and am 100% recommending this to others!
I usually don’t watch school bullying dramas/movies because it’s just too painful but for some reason I randomly started watching this and I can gladly say this was one of the most incredible movies i’ve ever see in my life. The acting was so phenomenal that I honestly forgot I was even watching the movie at some points. I have so much to say but I don’t even know where to begin. It was simply just amazing. I would do anything to rewatch this movie without any prior knowledge because the experience is incomparable.
i usually have a difficult time finding cdramas that cater to my standards but this was well above my expectations. the production level, the scriptwriting, the overall plot, and the actors performances were all phenomenal to say the least. i love that it was only 15 episodes bc it proves that it wasn't a cdrama that is just like other cdramas since 90% of cdramas rn are all just chugged out into the industry just to make $$. it was purposely short because they were concise about the message and they knew the overall viewer experience they wanted to provide.
i thought i would be annoyed by the whole time loop thing considering how many times i've seen it over the past few years in other show/movie industries, but they did such a wonderful job at keeping me on my toes. i thought it would get repetitive with the bus scenes but i was honestly captivated each time.
i think my favorite part about the whole show is how it almost felt realistic even though it's a time loop plot. the investigations with the police and how detailed they were made it so real to me. many other shows brush past the reality but this show made the police a part of the main plot and it made it even more thrilling!
additionally it's not romance driven at all but there was an underlying romance that was grown throughout the show which i loved! the show had its own message without the need of having an overboard romance plot but the chemistry with the main leads was still really amazing! i'm very content with what we got and i hope they have another opportunity to work together in the future. id love to see them in something like a simple romcom to show how adorable they are together <3
Just wasted my time watching 4 episodes. I had a hard time even pushing through the first episode but the FL and ML looked cute so I tried to give it a go. Then I found out the ML doesn't even appear until the 15th episode and there are 40 episodes total. I'm absolutely fine with dramas that aren't romance driven but 15/40 episodes in is a bit much. It also seemed like they were trying too hard to make it funny at some parts and then extremely dramatic during others. The balance was just terrible and the cinematographic decisions were just excruciating painful. It's as if they were trying to make it have some deep sentimental meaning behind it but failed miserably because of all the weird editing and camera shots. I don't understand how someone could watch all 40 episodes because this has to be in my top 10 "dumpster fire dramas" of all time. Overall, I would never recommend this to someone and it is a waste of time. However, I will try to watch the ML and FL actors in other shows just to give them another chance.
Just finished it a few minutes ago and I can happily say this is one of my favorite dramas of all time now. It's such a warm-hearted and pure show. It was also so funny but knew when to be serious and I love shows that can handle both at once since it's hard to see shows pull it off so effortlessly! The plot was clean and simple but there were a great twists here and there which were very well integrated. I also thoroughly enjoyed the characters. All of them were so amazing and I'm so sad that we won't be seeing them anymore. Most importantly, I'm going to miss the friendships and the relationships in general that were so well developed that it made me wish I had friends like them. I do have one small complaint about the ending being a bit abrupt and fast but I'm just happy we got a happy ending so I can't wait to rewatch it in the future :)
