It's not to be taken literally. If i call you my brother and treat us like brothers, then the brother's s/o is sister in law. It's both polite and makes the s/o feel welcomed.

It is slow, but I honestly thought a slow paced detective show was ok. I don't think it "gets better" in that aspect. This drama isn't really romance oriented but they do have some moments later

Yeah the way he died was hella stupid. It was so unprofessional lol. They could've definitely found a better way for him to die
