the first 4 eps were honestly the most entertaining, when fl and ml are falling in love without the annoying sister getting in the way. i honestly would’ve enjoyed this drama better if they kept staying on the island but it prob would’ve gotten repetitive
hate that in the end she still doesn’t remember her memories on the island. this drama was honestly a drag and if it weren’t for the couples chem i would’ve dropped.
also wish we got to see more of the characters on the island, kinda sad they didn’t rlly explain what happened to all of them besides the fact that an incident on the island forced them to move away/killed them. but was so happy to see mami return in the last few eps:)

the “revenge” plot is also weak as the show focuses more on the romance aspect. they introduce a bunch of side plots and characters then discard it and pick it up after viewers begin to forget abt it. also including how they made ryu’s chaeacter a “playboy” at the beginning, making him seem like he doesn’t take any girl seriously but all of a sudden mint’s character comes in and he falls head over heels and they discard that trait of his.
as for the romance aspect i felt like the main couple got together pretty fast, even though they kept referring to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend without an actual proposal (i thought that was odd). and there’s not much spice or touchy moments, mainly just fake falling on each other and holding hands which i was expecting more kisses (barely any, not even forehead or cheek kisses). just a bunch of staring into each other eyes for 5 mins straight.
i’m on the last few eps and all i gotta say is the cast is beautiful, stunning to look at but their acting could be improved. ik most of them are still rookies but it is so hard to enjoy this drama bc the acting is hard to watch. i think ryu is pretty charismatic and he’s on point w the expressions, along with namfah. mint has been a ch3 actress for a while but it feels like she hasn’t progressed much. she looks a bit awkward in scenes and her expressions are basically the same for all emotions. i love mint sm but i think she needs to branch out to other type of roles. same thing goes for meen he’s very awkward and his dialogue always seems very robotic and monotone.
anyways, plot lacks a lot of depth and there’s many plot holes. the development of the main couples rls feels awkward and rushed in a way. chemistry is also lacking a bit. a lot of characters are also forgotten after being introduced.
overall not the worst drama ive seen but nothing extraordinary.
truly one of the dramas i go back to each time. this is an enemies to lovers done correctly imo, first 8 eps are filled w tension and disgust between the two leads u start to question if they’ll ever even smile at each other! and the cast is truly so stunning it makes it even better

after marriage with kim they both kind of settled down and have made it clear they’ve been planning to start a family very soon but it looks like he’s acted in some recent movies! most celebs take long breaks from acting usually when they’re focusing on their families :(
what a disappointment, not only did he cheat on nycha his gf of 7 years but now he’s acting like a manchild and embarassing tf out of her publicly and acting like cheating is a mistake

i’m glad ppl are starting to recognize him more! i mean he’s always been pretty popular but there’s always room for more growth. i loved him in his lakorns and he has such a versatile filmography he can handle any script given to him

they were not always a ship! they aren’t exactly bl actors as they mostly play in boy girl series. they’ve played in many series together before but never a ship when they were under nadao ent. i recommend to watch any series that was produced under nadao as that rlly showcases their acting very well. cinematic wise it’s also very gorgeous!
honestly i just saw an interview of him and foam and they’re so sweet. it must’ve been difficult for both of them to receive backlash from netizens and hearing how hard it was for her had my heart broken. she was crying all the time and scared, and hearing they almost broke up a lot of times over that but they decided to stick together through it all. james is truly a good man, even with all the hate towards him and his loved one, he did not listen to them and stuck by the person he loves. i’m glad foam seems much more happier and comfortable on camera now and i wish nothing but happiness for the newlyweds💗
