I don't know if you are talking about Kim So Hyun not fitting the role or you are talking about her character but I think the inconsistency of the writer is mostly at fault. How can she gain more experience if the writers always stick to "crying reactions" instead of showing intrigue, action and strength. It is time to let their female leads show wit and intelligence, be fierce in words instead of shedding tears. Though I must agree also with the posture, I think she needs to work in this area if she will be appearing in action scenes again in the future.

Yeah I agree the writer has the choice which ending he wants that is why the criticisms rely on how he construct the twists.

Tbh my one and only question is for the prod team, if the fans of male lead are tired of getting sad and tragic endings, why cast him? Especially we all know this is based on history and history must be followed strictly or else there are really serious consequences. The truth is On Dal really died in the battle of Silla and that is the most crucial part of their story. I wonder if this drama will sacrifice the historical facts for the sake of fans.

What i hope is for everyone to just accept it.. After all, the drama has a lot of potential too. I mean it has a great plot, it is not the usual Joseon period. I think all the actors can give justice to their roles and has already proven their acting skills with all the characters they have portrayed in their previous dramas. We also don’t need to worry about the leads chemistry too, they’ve already proven it Page Turner kkkk

The production team must have chosen the casts because they knew their potential, and they knew they are fit for the role. Some ppl needs to calm down and stop acting like they know everything that they want to replace the confirmed casts just so their idols can get the role. Respect to whoever will be casted please! Let us stop complaining and just be happy for them that they are given this opportunity to show their versatility. If you don’t like the casting, just don’t watch the drama and just go watch other dramas you want in peace. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Simple as that, no need to spread hate.
