I feel so sorry for Chan-gyu. He's my favourite, and if I was in the show I'd try to date him. He's cute, kind,…
He is so adorable. I've liked him from the very beginning and can't believe no interest is being show him. I was glad he got over Seon-yul, but then he was rejected by Jung-ho!

8 days is too little time and the dinamics were not very good.If a S2 is made, I hope the production can do better.
I told my daughter the same when we watched it. I feel the short time is why the guys almost desperately try to hurry along their decisions. Imagine what a soap opera this would be if they were there for two weeks!

It's so on point! "This week's mess" lol😂 I swear, I'm watching it only so I can enjoy these kind of comments…
Well, Unforgotten Night is kind of bad, but it's also endearing. I'm always commenting there about the dark hair growing out of Yoon's jaw that no one will pluck.

Recap Episode 11
This week's mess--I mean episode--starts off with the director attempting to meet his promise of NC-17 in this series. Only, as usual, he found a way to ruin it by having D and N blindfolding each other, then moving the blindfold to each other's wrists without any really intention behind it that I could see. In an attempt at being artsy (I think), the music starts and stops and some of their moves are oddly sped up. I swear, all their NC scenes play like underwear commercials. Shockingly, though, Daonuea sticks his hand into Nine's underwear to grab his goods. He also dives under the covers and, well, you know.
Low and behold we find out Daonuea has a kitchen in his apartment. I don't know why he was making Tee eat on the floor--there's a table and chairs a few feet away. After a lot of sex, Nine makes breakfast and Daonuea plays footsie with him under the table as they eat. Dao's apartment has lots of windows with sheer curtains on one side and no curtains on the other. They stop eating breakfast and go back to bed to canoodle some more with Dao's teddybear in the bed with them. (This could be part of their sex dynamic. Nine does later threaten to punish Dao if he doesn't behave.)
Nine falls asleep at work because he was up all night with Daonuea. Boat takes a picture of him and texts it to Dao. Later, while Nine is in the studio with Ice, Tee comes in looking very sexy, tells Ice he's now full time, and takes a weirdly long amount of time putting Ice's lanyard around his neck. Nine refuses to wear one, and I don't blame him. It's orange and ugly.
Meanwhile, back at Daonuea's, Dao has finished his application, and, when Nine arrives, suggests they go grocery shopping. As they shop, Dao FINALLY brings up Nine's house, asking him if he lives with family. Nine says he lives alone and sinks into a weird mood. Not sure if this is because he's thinking of his ex or what. Back at Dao's, Nine makes the bed, which now sports three teddy bears. (Maybe they added the other two during their last romp.)
While he's cleaning, Nine finds and goes through a box of pictures that was in D's drawer. He chooses one of him and Dao and puts it in a picture stand (pretty sure he chose it because it's a good one of himself because Daonuea isn't even looking at the camera), then he takes Dao's necklace that Tee gave him off the dresser and puts it in the box and closes the drawer. He then picks up a slip of paper and takes it with him. (I don't know what the paper was. It looked like a ticket.)
Daonuea and Nine go ride go-karts. Nine rents the whole place, wears a shiny black jumpsuit, and all this pays off when Daonuea fangirls over him and tells him he's "so cool." Then, after watching Nine go around the track again, he accepts a ride. Then I fastforwarded because I have my limits.
Ice and Tee are alone at the office. Ice asks Tee how his date with Oab (tall nice guy from dating app who kissed Tee in front of Ice last episode) went and Tee says it was okay. Ice says he's sorry for not returning the day before, evidently not wanting Tee to know he witnessed the kiss between Tee and Oab. Then Tee asks Ice if he wants to be full time at work, even though he already announced earlier that Ice is full time when he gave him the ugly orange lanyard which is now nowhere in sight now.
Candy has made herself at home at Nine's, as usual, and Boat comes over. Boat tells Candy she's a naughty girl and he's going to punish her (ew), and then Nine walks in. Nine gets faux-angry about the mess and makes Boat and Candy clean it up so Nine can bring Daonuea over.
When Dao gets there, he tells Nine he has a beautiful house. Nine says, "Of course."
Dao introduces himself to a photo of Nine's mother and tells her he'll take care of her son and make sure he isn't lonely. Then he tells Nine that his aunt raised him because his mother left him when he was little. He flashes back to being at the park with her and having a good time when he was a kid. Nothing is said or hinted at the creepy guy from last episode's flashback. Dao refuses to kiss Nine in front of his mother's picture, so Nine picks up Daonuea and carries him upstairs to his bedroom to "see the stars." (This may be like "see my etchings," "eat ramen," or "Netflix and chill."
Back at the office, Ice announces that Oab is there wanting to see Tee. Nine is somehow back at work now, sitting at his desk--everyone is still wearing the same clothes, so it appears to be the same day. I guess eating with Daonuea, getting busy, going go-Karting, meeting up with Dao again and bringing him to his house, and getting busy some more was just a really long lunch hour.
Ice brings Oab in. Oab only knows where Tee works because he looked it up on social media. He comments on the fact that Ice is the same guy they saw on their date. Tee just says, "Yeah, sorry I didn't tell you." Ice gets an email that he won whatever contest it was he entered and hugs and thanks Nine. I get the feeling it's a photography contest even though in the last episode it said something about Love Contestants. Watching Ice hug Nine, Tee seems disturbed and is barely paying attention to Oab, who suggests they go somewhere else to talk. They go to a restaurant but Tee doesn't pay any more attention to Oab there than he did at the office, instead staring out the window. Oab, however, is really nice about it. He asks Tee what his hobbies are, and Tee flashes back to his interview with Ice when Ice asked what his hobbies were. (He must not get asked this much.) Prompted again by Oab, Tee says, "Thinking random things" is his hobby. Oab asks Tee if anyone's ever told him he's weird. Tee says no. Oab looks like this is really hard to believe. I have to agree.
The next day, Tee arrives at the office with bags, saying they would have Dao's farewell party that night. At Nine's, after hanging up from a call from Nine, Dao answers the door to a strange man.
(Okay, take a deep breath. With all those cute, happy scenes, we knew something would go wrong.)
Timing is questionable here. For our own peace of mind, let's assume Tee brought in the bags late in the day rather than the stranger hung around Nine's house for hours. Everyone starts Dao's party without the guest of honor. I mean, they're eating and everything, and Dao hasn't even gotten there. They don't even mention him except when Tee says he doesn't want Dao to quit the company (Not that D has already signed three separate resignations) and things get awkward. Ice comes to the rescue by asking Tee if Oab will be coming--Tee says, yeah, but he only invited him to be nice. Candy and Boat call each other"baby" about a million times.
Then Tee gets a phone call. Daonuea is on the line, obviously distressed. He miserably says he isn't coming to the party and he's sorry. (Because, even though his world is shattered, he still has manners.)
Nine, obviously wondering why his bf called Tee and not him but not about to ask, tries to call Daonuea with no luck. He announces he has to go and rushes home, Tee following. This leaves Candy, Boat, and Ice alone to party. (And Oab, if he decides to come after that terrible lunch date with Tee. Imagine his chagrin when he finds Tee isn't even there. Maybe he and Ice will get together.)
At his house, Nine finds his friend-with-benefits (that we, and obviously Daonuea, didn't know existed. I honestly thought he was the pimp) waiting for him but doesn't seem to think it's odd he's there and Daonuea isn't. The friend says he's come for some of those benefits they share as friends but Nine pushes him away. The friend reveals he told the sweet-faced guy who let him in about their benefits and that they guy left. The seems to genuinely upset this guy.. Like, he's like he's about to cry. For such a small part, this actor threw himself all in.
Nine hurries off to go to Dao's to find that D has made a mess and left his ring and necklace that Nine gave him on the bed . Tee arrives, even though Tee left with Nine earlier and Nine has already been home before going to Dao's house. Not sure what Tee's been doing in the interim. (Maybe indulging in his hobby of having random thoughts.)
Meanwhile, D is crying and driving. Although the trailer led us to believe he wrecks the car and dies here, he somehow makes it in one piece to the resort where he first met Nine---no, wait. They met at the amusement park. Sort of. You know what I mean, though.
What follows is a nonsensical conversation with a pregnant woman. (It looks exactly like a basketball has been shoved under her shirt. I have never seen such a perfectly round baby bump.) She seems to intuitively know Dao has a bf not a gf and she tells him she's seven months pregnant and will probably give birth in 2 weeks. (Let's hope not because that's way too early.) She also gives him some wise advice about soulmates. Fate is cruel--or, in this case, the writer is bad, and Dao winds up with the same tent where he made sweet love with Nine months ago when they stayed there in the only episode people liked of this series. Wondering why he ever believed Nine, he lies down on the bed and cries, a tear rolling into his hair.
The episode ends with the "trashy bar" song, even though they haven't used that one in a while. I guess it is only for when Nine and Daonuea aren't getting along.
What was the ticket Nine picked up? Earlier, Ice tried to tell Tee he needs time off to go to a "camp" that has something to do with winning the contest, but he was cut off. What is up with this? I don't really care, of course, but it's another hole in the plot. At this point, I want Oab and Ice to get together.
