So, I'm sitting here and have watched three episodes. They're so good, I'm sure I'll have the other two that are out watched in no time. But--without spoiling--is what seems to be true really true? And how could it not be true? Every episode goes deeper and deeper.
I am enjoying this. But I can't help but think of things--like, if North passed out after getting beaten up, he should probably go to the hospital. Especially when he stays knocked out all night! And the money thing is kind of weird. I kind of brushed it off until I saw the scenes from next week. But, of course, rarely do we get a show that doesn't have issues like these.
Go Young couldn't go to China due to his HIV status, even though he wanted to go, as seen when they were both…
Okay, so that was what I originally thought--that he couldn't go due to HIV but I guess didn't want to tell Gyu Ho that. (I think he should have. He really severed things with him, although I suppose he thought it was for Gyu's own good. I kind of wish that Gyu Ho had told him off instead of just tossing his sandwich at him, lol.) Someone else mentioned that scene was added. I do hope that's the reason, although I'm not sure what they would do in the second season. All we really needed was to have them get back with each other. I guess they could draw that out. Thanks for the reply. This show really sticks with you.
After breaking up with his boyfriend ( and also love of his life) he travels to Thailand with a Japanese guy who…
I wondered, too. Also, Go came to all these much-needed realizations but seems to have no intention of contacting Gyu. I think the added scene where the bartender says Gyu's been in touch and also due to come to Korea was to give viewers hope that the author didn't give to the readers.
Go seemed immature. He had a lot of character development in the last 2 episodes. All I wanted was for Gyu to show up at the end. Go made Gyu feel like he wanted Gyu to leave. One thing I was unsure about--did Go not go to China due to his HIV, the language reason he gave Gyu, or because he deep down didn't want to?
I can't help but laugh when I watch this. The actor who plays Elyes reminds me so much of Jim Carey, and when he widens his eyes, he looks so maniacal. I'm glad Run and Fei Long are in love because they have some great chemistry. Next week looks...interesting.
Such a good series. A couple questions: What were Alice's meds for? I didn't see him get hurt. Also, the rings...the one Jack put on Joker's finger. Was that the one from Jack's dad? And what was the other one? I'm confused. Jack said the boss had them. I was surprised at the beginning when Jack seemed to think that walking in there and asking the Boss to release Joker and the others was really going to work. Didn't he just yell at the Boss and get beaten by the Boss's thugs? I'm not too surprised that Arun and Tattoo didn't get together. I never saw anything happening between them. I did wish for a kiss between Hope and Save, though. They were cute together.
