I agree that, while this is a really good series, list last episode wasted a lot of time. Are they trying to make us like Rose or show she's a really good person or something? All the work with the children, for instance.

Seriously, if Aran and Tattoo are going to get together, they need more time. I felt something between them at first, but now there's not enough interaction.

I never hear anyone say anything negative about Sammy's characters, but I pretty much hate them all because they're all the same--squealy and silly. Of course, I like Sammy and am sure she could act a meaty part if she was ever given one.

This is where they should have used a side character for Ter to confide in since we can't read his thoughts. It would have been so easy for them to have Ter to tell North what happened and all his fears, and we, as the audience, could have wondered along with him how Hill felt. In a book you don't have to do that, as the reader is privy to the character's thoughts, but in film it's necessary. Just my opinion. It's very frustrating. It seems that unless you read the novel, you don't know what the heck is going on, which isn't right. (Actually, some of these series seem to be created like that--thinking the whole audience has read the novel and they're now just acting it out.) Sorry for the long post, lol.

I assumed it had to be something like that--I guess the drunk part makes it make more sense--but leaving the explanation out for so long is distracting for the viewer.

Yeah, they are determined to dress him in beige, gray, or white. I was surprised when he had on a pale pink shirt in this last episode. So pale it almost looked white.

Why is this ex suddenly so interested in getting back into Pat's life? Why can't she read the room?

Idk, wasn't that also what the crying scene was about? Where Ter was crying and Hill said everything will be all right, and then Ter couldn't get a hold of him and finally blocked him? (And also the dad seeing them at the high school and looking angry.) Why don't they address this? Ter has also held back from telling North about this part.

Did I miss something big? Because I don't see anybody talking about the fact that Hill and Ter slept together and, I think, were caught by Hill's parents. If they were going to "talk about the past," why didn't that come up? And why do they act so surprised that the other ever liked them? And did Hill ghost Ter after promising him he wouldn't go anywhere back then? Why isn't this being addressed at all? I have taken my eyes off the subtitles a few time out of boredom. Did I miss it?

Do people rate it from the get go and then change the rating as they watch? Because I usually wait until a series is over to give it a rating.

I'm here for Bas, too. I am really confused about Hill and Ter. They act like two people who never knew they liked each other but the SLEPT together, right? So, wtf?

Only halfway through and crying a lot. What a gem this is.

I wanted Sin to ask his man why he was there--I mean, it looked like he was there for him, but he never left his island, usually. There was no conversation!
