Being an I might also have made him go along more with YJ even though he wanted to get to know others, too. I'll bet that whole ending it thing was difficult for him. In my opinion, the producers should let the men rotate so that they can each get to know each other at least a little. Some never seemed to have a chance. The games they play with the men aren't conducive to helping them find love--just for drama.

I can't believe what Hanmin just did...Should I take this as Karma for what he did to to the other guy? And Episode…
I understand his decision, but some of the things he said--not so much. After all, it was his decision to make the couple rings. Still, I blame the producers who decided to air that scene. I know poor Hanmin is getting hate for it.
Definitely. We were all upset for sure, and also sad for Youngjoon. But there's no reason to be angry at Hanmin.…
Oh, thank you for checking! I feel the show should not have aired the scene with him turning down Yj. They should have realized it would bring hate. I didn't see the point in it.
I'm disappointed. It's not that I don't like friend-group series--I really enjoyed We Are, for instance. But I…
Yes. I guess because I liked all the couples. It's not that it was the best story in the world, but I enjoyed watching the interactions and the romances in it.
My daughter and I have so much fun watching this show every year. I rather liked that it was longer this time. But I really feel like it wouldn't hurt to rotate the men with each other so they all get a chance to meet and interact before playing games with who gets to see whom.

I am in no way angry at Han's decision, but I do have a question. Wasn't he the one who suggested they make couples' rings? Or am I remembering that wrong? Just curious.

I wasn't too surprised about Han backing out. I was more surprised that they showed it like that. It looked like in the three weeks since the week they'd been together in the house, they hadn't seen each other. And while in the house, Han said several times that he wanted to get to know other men. He probably didn't want to necessarily date YJ, but he left a message for him on that last day because he was the only one he got to know romantically. Who knows, maybe he met someone else in the interim. But that was a sad scene to show. I'm sure YJ felt very uncomfortable with the camera in his face. One thing--my daughter and I both felt pretty sure that it was Han's suggestion to make couple's rings? Yet he acted like it wasn't.
You need to precise why you think it's almost scripted. To me this season felt more real and more organic. Despite…
I agree that it didn't seem scripted. Only one thing I thought was suspicious--to have two contestants who had been involved in the past. I wonder if the execs did this on purpose to create drama. They certainly seem to make every decision in the house based on the men's feelings in order to do the same.
I didn’t realize it before until someone said it, but it does seem like they cut out a lot of development this…
And yet, checking social media, Myeong Gyn and Minseon didn't last. You are right about Jae Seung and Seong Min--they seemed to have nothing between them at all. My daughter and I were saying similar things as we watched. We felt that both of those guys had issues with Hwi being so much younger than they were, but they must also be well matched to still be together now. We'd had hopes for Hwi and Seung Jin, but that would have been too romantic and perfect for the ending.
I just finished watching. I haven't been here yet because I didn't want to get spoiled. I wonder why in the fourteenth episode they decided to show the horribly awkward date between Han and Yeong Jun (Had they even seen each other at all since the show?) and then didn't show Jae Seung and Seong Min at all (not that I particularly wanted to see them, but still.) I thought Min Seong and Myeong Gyn were such a cute couple and well matched, as Min Seon seemed to understand Myeong Gyn, but I see from social media that they did not last. There always seems to be an odd-man-out, and this time it was Seung Jin. I hated that he didn't get attention. I'm glad that he and Hwi are friends.
This show continues to be bland. I started it because the cinematography/production values are good and it seemed…
I'm disappointed. It's not that I don't like friend-group series--I really enjoyed We Are, for instance. But I don't find this workplace interesting, and it gives me anxiety the way people keep getting into trouble. Jane and Ryan's "romance" isn't very compelling. Like you said, Ryan's character is pretty blah. What motivates him, exactly? And we really don't know much about Jane either. The girl has had slight character growth in that at least she's now thinking about work a little rather than only about herself and her obsession with her bf. And, of course, she's developing an attraction to her mentor. There are humorous moments, but they're overshadowed by the over-the-top stuff like the cougar woman. On the whole, imo OffGun's talents and chemistry was wasted on this one.
I suppose I get Natsume's thoughts, in a way, but he's driving me crazy. And I don't see how their relationship didn't advance between winter, when Sahashi got back from his trip, and spring, when the changes happened at work. And I really dislike the new guy. So pushy.
I fast-forwarded through most of this last episode. I love OffGun, but I'm not connecting with this at all. I'll stick it out, though. I want to see the romance.
Just curious.
