I'm not super picky, but if there's anything that kills a boyslove series for me, it's not being able to buy the romantic relationship. And that's what happened here. I watched it, but my rating for it is lower than I would normally give a show that wasn't just flat-out a piece of crap.

This (the last thing you mention) is what puzzles me so much about bl's, at least Thai bl's. That they have actors (sometimes) who are inexplicably hired and put in a couple even though they come off as very straight and can't kiss their partner without looking like they're doing it on a dare. It's like the producers are determined to make these stories no matter what and don't even try to make the scenes better. Or else they do try and this is the best that can come of it. It seems to be more about the actors than about the production.

I agree. Chimon is adorable, but he fell short in emotional scenes and failed at romantic ones.

Yes, I just finished it and rated it 5.5. Although it started off well, I couldn't buy their relationship due to Chimon's inability to act like he wants to kiss his boyfriend. As I said in my comment, it would have been better if they two of them had more of a bromance, remaining strong, supportive friends until the end, and that kiss out by the windmills be their first one (with no attempt at a sexy scene at the end.) Every time they kissed I wanted to either laugh because it was so unbelievable or cry because I want them to work as a couple but they don't.

Who is in Pit Babe? I don't think I've heard of that one. I am really looking forward to Middleman's Love.

I don't think that had anything to do with it because he didn't have them on in the other tub scene, but his inability to play gay convincingly ruined this show.

Yeah, Kang gave off some weird vibes during that time. I know he was probably torn between loyalty to his family and his feelings for Sailom, but he was such an ass. Couples with Chimon's inability to kiss, it just ruined it for me.

This had a pretty good plot, but, in my opinion, this would have done better as a sweet romance with the couple only going from friends to lovers at the end. The reason is that--again in my opinion--while Perth and Chimon have great friend vibes and even great UST, their actual loves scenes are not good. Since we know Perth can do excellent love scenes, this is a problem with Chimon. He looks like he has his mouth firmly glued shut and would rather be doing just about anything else when he kisses. It doesn't happen often that I want to skip loves scenes while watching a bl.

Seems like Top wanted Mew to look better and now doesn't anymore because Mew is too attractive. Maybe he wants to control Mew. This was the only thing that intrigued me about the ending...if they have a season 2 and Mix's character is interesting in Mew, I am there. just to hope he leaves Top.

Side note: It really bugged me when Top encouraged Mew to get eye surgery. Seemed like it didn't come from the right place.

Not going to argue, since I'm not a big Top fan anyway. Just trying to reason out the difference in Mew's eyes. And I don't think Mew and Ton had the friendship Mew thought they did. Ton didn't value his friends. I agree he should have kicked Top to the curb.

I was disturbed by the Sand/Top kiss. So weird. Same with Ray getting Sand to kiss Boeing. Another thing I thought was weird and unsettling was all the onscreen sex was at the beginning. I mean, I get that we don't have to see every single sex scene, but it was so obviously to get people watching. Then to have it disappear seemed odd. I thought for a minute that ForceBook were going to have a hot scene there at the end, and the abrupt switch to the afterglow was startling.

Boeing should have kissed Nick--then he would have kissed all the guys, lol.

Well, we didn't see it, but we know that he took Sand's bf from him. And we know he'd slept with Ton before and there was that guy in the bar and I think someone else they ran into.

I agree--if Top has changed, why wouldn't he want to apologize? I also didn't really like that truth or dare scene. Kissing Top wasn't exactly great revenge for Sand, imo.
