Yea :)! I remember watching an acting variety show once where bailu was a guest. She said previously, a director cut her out on day 1 because her personally did not suit the “gentle” kind. I’m glad she proved them wrong!
We dropped the first one, did not like the FL and not sure what the story was supposed to be about-lol.
The female lead’s character was indeed seen by annoying by many and I myself don’t really like time traveling dramas so I understand that you might not like this drama. Note to everyone, the review above is just my opinion!! You’re more than welcome to disagree with me :)
Hi!!! I know there is propaganda and racism shown in this drama but if you continue to watch this drama, they actually dismiss a lot of the stereotypes. Such as Dingkai’s new close friends are all westerners. Thought the Chinese are seen at a disadvantage here, they actually rose to high positions later on. Infact, two of the highest directors of the cruise are both Chinese. A few episodes on, this drama also starts to talk about how friends and close ones are proud that the Chinese are able to reach high achievements and also how they supported one another.
It actually kinda make sense that this show gave the concept of being bias towards westerners since the cruise is actually a westerner cruise thus most of the staff are expect to be westerners. Thus this drama is infact trying to break that stereotype!
Of course this is all just my opinion :)! Hope you can reconsider watching it :D

Omg rlly! Didn’t know that I’m so sorry. The only I wrote it’s a dots remake was because dramalist wrote “descendants of the sun” under content before. Will take note of it :))

To all the viewers who read my review , do not give up on watching the show. After all, you may enjoy it a lot like @Lover!
