The guy who was dying simply needed a blood transfusion from his son. But his son was too young to do a transfusion…
Nope, being frozen doesn't heal people. They were introducing cryo for people to get frozen while treatments were discovered for whatever illness they had that wasn't treatable at the time. That guy needed a blood transfusion from his son, so they froze him until his son was old enough to save him.

I would have loved this drama so much more if it had a different ending. I loved it up until the end and was really disappointed. I know some people might see it as a happy ending in a way, but it just wasn't for me. Sure Dan Bi got to meet a modern day reincarnation of King Se Jong, but what about King Se Jong back in the Joseon era? I don't think throwing someone who looks like him in her path is gonna make up for the fact that she left the real King Se Jong in the past all heartbroken. If the writers wanted to go that route then I think they should have at least had King Se Jong meet someone that looked like Dan Bi to even it out and have it be her ancestor or something.

I don't know why people are complaining so much. The show just started, give it a chance. I've never seen the lead actress in anything before so I have nothing to compare it to, but I actually like her character so far. I've always been a fan of bold female leads. I never much cared for the helpless ones. As for Ji Chang Wook, there isn't really a drama I don't like him in. Sure the story is a bit slow, but I've seen worse. My only real issue with the show is that I'm not sure how they're gonna transition into Dong Chan falling in love with Mi Ran. We all know they're supposed to but with him still being in love with his ex girlfriend, I don't see how it's gonna happen. I know his ex helped cover up his disappearance and didn't search for him, but if that alone is the basis for him to instantly fall out of love with her for Mi Ran then it just seems too easy. Overall, I'm enjoying the show so far.
