had it paused for a very long time (and got spoiled quite early in the season already), but saw a new season was coming out so set out to finish it finally. and my conclusion is: "it's not bad, but is not good".
omg it has so many plotholes and missing logic, a very violent last episode which was odd since the rest of the season they were under constant danger but apparently very chill about it, and literally, no jk, no female cast. I know bl is often very male heavy, but damn no at all, should be record.
might give the second season a chance, in hopes of a better script, but oh well I did enjoy myself during this series.
Please give Daou a break, this man has been suffering through all these episodes with the thickest clothes on. My man is sweating... who wears a hoodie and blazer in Thailand and then films a fucking fight scene, poor Daou, really put his all in this series 😂😂
I actually enjoyed the series, it has an intriguing plot, just God awful scripts that were hard to look through. Some timelines didn't matchup, alot of side characters that didn't get enough attention while they seemed interesting but now just felt flat, and no real resolution with the family of Cir. and talking about family, what's up with Phu his mom just living in another country leaving her own son alone because she can't handle it, what makes you think your son will be able to handle the grief all by himself...
Although at times a bit frustrating or cringe (skipped through 2 long ass singing scenes) I had a good time, love BossNoeul so that helped 🫣
Acting is not the best (the stiff pose Pond holds while acting is excruciating 😂), script is lacking, but boy did I enjoy this series. it gave me all the feels and I loved the characters so much, especially North. Looking forward to season 2 because seeing all these looks between p'fah and phoon but not understanding the full story is PAIN

major triage vibes, which is also one of my fave BLs, so so happy I gave this one a try!
