Not really a disaster but definitely not something worth recommending or remembering. only here for Mudmee and Atom. I truly think Gemini’s acting is so stiff in this series that they can’t even use his coming out scene (???) as he keeps repeating 3 or 4 expressions throughout it all. Idk what happened to him but have to say I’m disappointed. It seems like he didn’t even try to act as a boy in love (all those kissing scenes with zero chemistry). I think maybe it’s time for them to stop being a couple and have their own shows.

Much cuter and entertaining than expected. All the characters are portrayed well with consistent traits and adequate development. Hope more viewers may discover this funny gem

2 things that are good about this ep are Half and Mudmee’s confession + Atom’s telling his childhood trauma to the cafe’s owner (forgot his name) - I am really impressed with Fourth’s performance in it. The rest is just commercials and chemistry voids. And Gemini’s portrayal of Kongthap this time is truly bland. So it’s understandable why people are criticizing the series over all.

I’ve watched all his works and love them all. But from Ep.1 to Ep. 5 there are moments I think he’s out of character but from last episode it’s like hes fully become Atom

Although there are some inconsistencies in character development, I have to say this episode made me a fan of Fourth's acting all over again, his expressions and emotive eyes are just spectacular to watch. And the editing seems much better too, so i hope the second half of the series can successfully change my initial disappointment.

The last two eps are getting better so I will keep watching it. However, I’ve lowered my expectations and will treat this as a show to burn free time on Friday night. It is not a disaster but definitely pale in comparison with many shows that are currently airing. And it is quite sad when I prefer the interaction between Atom and all other characters than his with Kongthap. Idk where their chemistry has gone for real.

The story line is ok for me, but the execution here made all the butterfly feelings in the manga and the japanese version disappear. Everything seems forced. What a pity as this is one of my most anticipated series this year.

Episode 5 is just plain bad… the first half is a disaster, there is no logic, no humor, no feeling whatsoever, only an opportunity for product placements. Last episode I was happy to see some chemistry between Kongthap and Atom on the bus but today Mudemee and Atom are more like a couple than the boys. And then in part 3 when they go to the shrine in the woods, I don’t see Kongthap or Atom anymore - that part is really out of character. At this point I’m not sure if watching this is worth my time. hope GMM will them better projects next time.

To me this is 2024’s MSP - new faces surprisingly brought the house down with stellar performance, especially Keen. What a pity many people seem to be sleeping on it. Hopefully GMMTV won’t butcher their future projects with half-baked scripts and horrendous sound effects.

This. They don’t need to force the ost down our throat with all that singing. They can sing for sure but the characters are not Gem and Fourth. Let Atom and Komgthap communicate with words and actions, not songs all the time.

I feel like some of the fans do not want to accept that this series is just a poor replication of MSP until now. Hopefully it can improve in later eps.

ive been watching thai bl for 4-5 years but this is the first time I am this bothered by bgm….

Why they keep adding background music to almost every single scene…. It’s so distracting and I can’t get into the story and characters’ emotions. And then the tutor scene seems so forced and too noise polluted that I can’t feel a thing. Editors, please let the dialogues do their job and let my ears rest.

This series deserves more recognition. Keen is such a discovery this year, he reminds me so much of Fourth with his charm and talent. Hope they can star together in a same project in the future.

I may get hate for saying this, but instead of his stellar performance in Moonlight Chicken, I don’t think Gem has expressive eyes and a wide range of emotions on his face…. He is handsome for sure, but throughout MSP and now MLMU, i can only see he shows about 5-6 expressions distinctively.

You pinpointed my thoughts while watching the play. It is too perfect that it lost the intended charm that should have been there.

The use of sound and music in Ep.2 seems to be less jarring. I just feel like they haven’t found the perfect balance for all the elements they want to put in this series. It is too mild to be a Japanese over the top BL but too forced to be a regular Thai BL that most viewers are familiar with. And because of that struggle, even though Fourth’s acting is really good in this (considering what he is given) the character - Atom - sometimes feels out of place. One more thing I’m having problem with is the pacing. i know they have a lot to cover but the shift in emotions is way to fast for my taste. Hopefully now when Atom has admitted his feeling for Kongthap, the series can get into a better groove.

Shout out to Nat - he took the spot light this episode. The series is really well done until now. But as someone is interested in psychology and its practice, I find it strange for the “Doc” to disclose his patient’s records to the police and then join their meeting??? Isn’t it against all of codes of ethics?
And I’m so happy our MCs are honest and open to each other but the moment seems a little odd imo. Maybe this is already ep.7/12 so they want to speed up but I personally would prefer a well paced slow burn.

Late to discover this marvelous series. I can’t say how much I admire the crew of this masterpiece. From plot to acting to production, everything is just so good and blows my mind. I was sobbing watching the final. I really love how they put all the elements in with grace and thoughtfulness. Whether it’s humor, horror, thrills, or emotional factors, the amount is jut perfect to be intriguing but not overwhelming. Hope there’ll be season 2

Just finished season 1 and have some conflicted thoughts about the series. Like everyone else said, the acting is so good and the chemistry is really chemistrying. A big shout out to the crew for what they’ve achieved under all those mainland absurd censorship. they’ve also made some good changes to make this adaptation more pertinent.
However, I’m still wondering if all the dramas necessary - that horrendous ending!!!, especially when S2 is not a sure thing atm (I know they’re working on it but until the official release date announcement, it’s not a certainty). The villain’s a bit one dimensional and his reason to have someone murdered is really lame. Also, there are still some unnecessary fillers and unresolved matters (like the friends’ subplot went nowhere after the sports event).
After all a nice watch but now it needs a proper s2 to become great for me :((
