I remember my dad made my sister and I watch amachan with him around 5 years back. Looking at it now, I'm glad he forced us to watch that first episode - with a synopsis like that, I wouldn't never even considered starting. But I still haven't found a Slice of Life drama I like more than Amachan.
Amachan has everything - comedy, romance, sea-urchin diver and what I'd never expect - for her to become an idol.
