The production of the movie is currently on hold for quite some time now, and seeing how all 3 books are getting an adaptation now, the production of the movie might not even happen in the near future.
It might be a bit strange to adapt the same source material when it comes to BL series, as that's not very common, but adaptations of the same book within Thai industry is still pretty common (they love to recycle the same story over and over again very frequently), and it's even more common in the Chinese industry as well as other countries. Chinese in particular will make several titles based on the same source material within the same year. 🤷
The titles were announced and produced by two different production companies and are two different types (one is a drama, and another one is a movie). So please don't confuse the two pages, despite both of them being adapted from the same source material.

That's because episodes are split into two videos released on two separate days. 1st half is released on Tuesdays and the 2nd half is released on Wednesdays. As they're released on separate days and as standalone videos, they're marked on MDL as two singular episodes instead of one, so the calendar can correctly show when the next video will be released among other reasons.
This is very common with recent Chinese variety shows and they more often than not adopt this style of showing their episodes; splitting them in half and streaming them on different days.
So far, for this particular show, only 4 full episodes, with both halves, have been released. Hope that clears up some confusion. (:
