Yeah, now with Parasite's success, we'll probably seeing a lot more Hollywood remakes and not just the other way…
The interest in the culture wasn't that strong back then, so not many remember that Old Boy was and had a remake, so this will bring more light to new remakes and more love towards Asian cinema. (:

I love this "genre", and it's such a guilty pleasure. Haven't watched all of these, so they're definitely gonna go on my "need to watch very soon" list. XD
Thank you for putting them all together here. ^^

But really, "Sukeban Deka" and the yo-yo thing sounds so manga-ish. I can't imagine that ever working in real life, unless it had like a Marvel-high production.

Didn’t BTS also donate $1M to the BLM cause this month?
They have, but that happened this month, and this only talks about stuff that happened in May. That info will show up in the next monthly edition that will cover news for June.

Thank you this article was helpful. I didn’t know about the Hollywood remakes. I should watch Gonjiam: Haunted…

Great job in gathering all of this~! ^^

But, ah, I always appreciate when older bands and musicians post their old MVs on YouTube, which were originally at first only available on TV. Makes me feel old, but still so appreciative. (:

It's a great article. (:
I've thankfully managed to watch all four of them, and I'm eagerly waiting for new ones to come out with this and similar genre. E-sports/gaming is such a new drama concept and there's ton of stories around it that can be developed. Plus, as you said, I like that they're light-hearted in their essence. No big melodrama and everything that comes with it. ^^

Thanks for all the news update. Appreciated. Please do it again. Looking forward to second half of 2010, seems…
You're welcome. Hopefully all of their plans will come to fruition, and all those dramas and movies will be released as planned by the end of the year. (:
