okay, since people don't want to falsely accuse him, let's look at the facts.
His old classmates came forward with a plethora of allegations including verbal abuse, physical abuse, blackmail, shooting students with a BB gun, throwing food at students, forcing students to buy him cigarettes, filming himself having sex with a female student in the bathroom and sharing it with friends, forcing male students to rape the same girl, and forcing male students to jerk him off (or give him a bj? unclear). These are not yet proven.

His agency responded by basically saying "we want to find proof and verify the truth."
Jisoo responded on his personal insta essentially saying "I have a dark past. I hurt many people. I feel guilty. I regret it. I'm sorry to everyone that I've hurt."

Neither jisoo nor his agency denied any allegations. Jisoo did not specify if his "dark past" included just bullying, just sexual assault or both. Obviously, we don't know the extent of his actions. HOWEVER, he did something. By writing his apology, he confirmed that at least some of the allegations are true.

What follows is my opinion:
Firstly, why is "just bullying" (as opposed to bullying and sexual assault) being brushed off as something that can be more easily forgiven and forgotten? If he truly humiliated, injured, coerced and traumatized his classmates, they are living with that pain and trauma for the rest of their lives. And if he sexually assaulted his female and male classmates, they are also living with traumatic memories. If he only did "some of the above", there are still people living with trauma. NO ONE except the victims has the right to forgive him.
As he has essentially admitted to hurting his classmates in some way or another, do not voice your support (I mean forgiving him, arguing that he is innocent, etc.). I agree that we should wait for evidence before convicting him of specific crimes. However, based on his and his agency's response, it seems we are simply waiting to see "what" he has done, not "if". As such, people have every right to stop supporting him. And anyways, regardless of the extent of his bullying, he only bothered to apologize when his career was on the line.

I'm really disappointed because I was loving "river where the moon rises" so far. I feel bad for the rest of the cast and crew.

Title Good Manager
just watched this for the second time and I can't praise it enough. I don't generally like slapstick comedy but this one is perfect. the jokes are actually witty, there is great bromance, and there are tons of well-timed (and hilarious) references to other dramas. some of the jokes are lost in translation though so a moderate understanding of korean is helpful (but in no ways necessary). none of the characters are flat--they are all developed and tons of the characters undergo really enjoyable character growth.

overall, this is a well-written story with an amazing cast and tons of laughs!!
and Namgoong Min!! I love him!! lol

I binged watched this. Kim Dong Hee is perfect for Oh Jisoo.I loved it but the ending wasn't satisfying.
honestly at first i felt like the ending wasn't satisfying... but now i'm not so sure. i think that the show suited an ambiguous ending. morally ambiguous characters make unpredictable decisions. ultimately, we don't know what the leads choose to do. do they run away? does jisoo finally confess? does gyuri abandon him? the only thing we can be sure about is that the detective knows everything. I think that it's a fitting ending... only the truth matters in the end.

I like the first episode but couldn't decide to watch it or not. I don't want to see male lead as a loser. Did…
even though she does use him at times, he makes a lot of the decisions. neither one has more power in the relationship... it isn't a typical relationship. i generally don't like seeing the ML as a tool but this show is really well done... i highly recommend

If you enjoy k dramas too much this will be hard to watch. It is silent and slow but for me this is masterpiece.…
i agree!!! BUT I love kdramas and this movie haha I've watched it twice in 4 days
When i was watching this, i began noticing so many references: schrodinger's cat, barn burning by faulkner (and of course murakami), and other psychological analysis theories. As you say, a haunting movie!! I wish more people appreciated it!

if you're into a dark, slow burn movie, watch this. the acting, cinematography and overall production is killer. the scenes are so tense and eery, really fitting to murakami's style. I could tell that every word of dialogue and every shot was mapped out perfectly. If you're into a mature, thought-provoking character study, this is for you.

If you're just looking for an easy watch, and aren't into the deep and metaphorical, don't watch this. the beauty of this movie is in the abstraction of the viewer. if you don't feel like thinking, the point will pass you by.

I officially conclude that this drama is a Grim Reaper & Sunny fanfiction. T___T They're two of the moooooost…
The show is titled Touch Your Heart since in korean it's 진심이 닿다 (Jinsimi Dahda), which basically means "Reach of Sincerity" (but Touch Your Heart is a more fitting expression in English), and 진심 (Jin Sim) is Oh Yun Seo's name. Basically it's a play on words! Oh Jin Sim's sincerity is reaching Kwon Jung Rok haha

That's the thing though, her character is not written as an idiot but as a very smart law school student who chooses…
i think her intelligence was brought to the surface when she adapted to her role as secretary pretty quickly and remembered the case that happened years before in ep 2. I don't think she is necessarily a genius, but I do think that her "dumbness" is a combination of naivety (since she lived as an actress since she was a teen) and an act, not actually a result of her being unintelligent. I agree when others were mentioning the coworker scene since I think it demonstrates that she consciously decides to act dumb, naive and happy-go-lucky so that she can keep face, avoid looking pathetic, and not make others feel uncomfortable. I think if she were truly dumb, she would have confronted the coworkers and the poster guy...

i really like that it’s only 7 eps!! i’m the type that needs to finish a drama before getting any work done so my grades hopefully won’t sufer as much haha also is it just me or does the premise remind anyone of the short story “the most dangerous game”?

i think some people might think this is "just okay" because the plot is lacking (although not many plot holes). The story line begins with quite a ridiculous premise, yet somehow manages to pull everything together, despite the plot's simplicity. It's because this show focuses on character more than any thing else. The actors all do an amazing job and I loved all the secondary characters (except se ho's mom lol). I think that the point of this show is characters and relationships so the simplicity of the plot just acts as a framework for character development, cheesy romance and hilarious and meaningful "quotes". If you're considering watching this, go for it!
