To Es01,
Seo Yoon Jae's "persona" was more of the exposition/incident that causes the story between Gyung Joon and Daran. The Hong Sisters make it fairly obvious that Yoon Jae was cheating on her with Se Young.
Notice how Yoon Jae's persona was only in the series for the first episode? That's because he's only the incident that sparks the story. As blunt as it sounds, he was very insignificant.
In a way, Yoon Jae/Yoon Jae's persona is more of an idea or a side character.

Not really. The ending was very symbolic and deep. It feels incomplete/a mess to you because you aren't able to view dramas intelligently (like most koreaboos can't).
