And judging from how you are under few comments leaving bad comments you seems to not like this drama-first you said acting is bad,then you said vibe/aura is missing,now you are saying it lacks historical accuracy.so why even bother checking this page ?

If you aren't biased you have no reason to leave a feedback full of lies when someone new asked if watching the drama is worth or not.criticism isn't a bad thing but your criticism clearly lack logic-you call leads acting "mid" when the professional critics and general audience speak highly of leads acting.you said they lack certain aura/vibe when they literally go viral for the aura/vibe

As someone who love thriller/horror/suspense genre and watch dramas of those genre,I disagree.i enjoy short dramas as well but the pacing in this drama have thriller/horror/suspense style editing (and short dramas/AI dramas are copy of traditional chinese dramas,so accusing traditional dramas for being similar to short dramas/AI dramas is like accusing parents for having same looks as the child)

thriller/horror/suspense genre dramas don't explain everything,audience have to be keen,catch clues and connect dots.sometime the clue appeared in first episodes can only be useful in last episodes.if audience skip few scenes they will end up feeling clueless

If you are not used to watching thriller/horror/suspense it's understandable why you feel confused.if you try to watch this like a thriller/horror/suspense drama and pay attention to details,connect dots you will easily understand the plot

This is clearly an idol drama with a fast paced story line where audience have to rely on clues to connect dots with minimum to zero explanation.just like you enjoy historically accurate dramas,some people only enjoy idol type of historical dramas like this one.so to that audience those moments aren't "unusual"

if you are only interested historically accurate dramas there's so many other options- the story of minglan,the legend of zhang hai,story of yanxi palace etc (not fully historically accurate since storylines/character faces changes but details, etiquette,outfits are historically accurate in these dramas)

Aren't you basically projecting.ml of sotb go viral for his aura what are you even talking about.and their chemistry was also a topic among audience,apart from that one crying scene of the fl no one even criticized acting.ml even get praised for his acting,even his line delivery were praised.

Just finished spring of the blade.feel like it's moonlit reunion part 2.everyone get screen time except male lead.
I can't understand cdramas.if you don't want to give male lead proper screen time why hire them and name them as male lead?.this is not limited to this two dramas either.
I understand they want someone to attract investment and audience so they hire established ml for that.but is it that hard to give them proper screen time ?
Since you gonna use them give them something back atleast

It's a originally a story about the main couple.they liquidified the plot to make it female centric and give some characters more scenes.so now drama look like it's a story about fl and demon market rather than romance drama

I mean even as a non chinese I know about that shrines past,and he is a chinese.its bit weird if he don't know about it.its either he don't care or kinda dumb and don't know much about his country.either way he literally destroyed his career because of carelessness

This one is bad but definitely not worse than overdo.overdo is a high budget production that deliver nothing while this one is low budget drama that run out of money to film last ep.thats why only first half of this drama is good while ending was rushed.and they didn't even spend a penny to promote this drama they are that broke

It is worth it.but little head up : it's fast paced.
If you like slow paced drama,this one isn't for you

I just love how despite loving each other they haven't forget their own plans.male lead seems like he have nothing else other than obsessing over fl but he have his plans and he do his job while acting like someone who only focus on girl.and female lead love him back but she don't forget her revenge for his sake.

It's way better than those illogical dramas where one person sacrifice their goals just to be with other person.i hope cdramas follow this kinda storyline more.

Ps : I don't know what kinda magic xu kai put but his voice is so attractive in this drama (I have watched abay before) , specially in scenes where he is flirting with fl.

Not sure about Zhou ye.i only watched lofg and it's long ago.but as I remember she wasn't chubby or anything to begin with.she have bit of baby fat on her face look healthy to me.

But xu kai is far from skinny.maybe it's because he is tall he look skinny.

It will continue because they didn't use heavy filters at all,it's xu kai's natural skin tone.he have a pale skin in real life.during media conferences for his dramas,when he stand beside his fls he is almost pale as them.and when he don't wear makeup, he look even paler

It's absurd his skin tone bothered you so much.some people have dark skin some people have pale skin.its extremely rude to point at others skin colors or tones.
