You guys. I had high hopes for this one and I've been waiting since the announcement for it to air. People in the comments are comparing it to Long ballad and saying it's got the same vibes. NO. The long ballad was one of the best Cdramas I've watched, this one right here did not catch me at the first episode. The first episode was a 5/10. However, this might be due to my high expectations and the fact that I love Dilraba's and Liu Yu Ning dramas, thus I will try to complete it to give it a fair chance. The subs are the worst rn and there's also illogical things as to the first episode. The CGI is questionable for a drama airing in 2023 but I've seen way worse. This show made me realize one thing: While most women seek relationships in which they prioritize that they're comfortable around the guy (personality and humour), most guys fall for looks and the excitement/popularity of the girl, which would be the exact opposite. I really like the cast because they're different personality wise and contribute a lot.
However, I end up hurting myself because I always end up choosing and rooting for the people that end up alone even though they're the most caring, loving and mature people. And while I appreciate their effort and thoughtulfness no one on the show seems to notice.
Best examples: Coco from ExChange and now Jumi. It feels like a never ending curse to me. I hope those amazing people end up finding a significant other that can offer them so much more love and care because they deserve it.
I really liked this one until end of ep 4. starting from ending of ep 4 it started to annoy me and I didn't like ep 5 and 6 today. Given that it only has 4 more episodes I'm still going to give it a shot to give it a fair rating.
I feel like she didn't like him meddling in her business. this also feels like some sort of test to see if he's…
I feel like she's lost the belief in good humans and wants to push his limits to prove, not only him but most importantly herself, that something like a good person simply doesn't exist bc of all the trauma she's been through and there wasn't a single good person in her life.
She wants to deny the fact that good people exist because the fact that they do would shatter her completely bc no one was there for her rescue.
SAME GIRLLLL!!!! i feel very strongly about this for some reason AHHAH but i read some upsetting (((unconfirmedd)))…
to be honest I should stop watching dating shows. I always end up rooting for people that end up alone which leaves me heartbroken. biggest heartbreak: coco from exchange
how come the best, genuine, caring and loving people end up alone???
What was that? Could someone explain that twist at the end of the episode? because I failed to understand why…
I feel like she didn't like him meddling in her business. this also feels like some sort of test to see if he's loyal. at the same time she's making fun of him by showing him that his empathy and belief in humans won't help him
people always mentioned how good looking Mingyu is and I've always had the feeling that I know him form somewhere. LOL. His celeb look a like is LITERALLY Kim young dae
I loved season 2 because it focused more on friendship and had a great timeline (Japanese occupation). I wish I could love season 3 as much but I'm afraid that it'll focus on love just like season 1 now that it's confirmed that Jo Bo Ah will return.
