The comment comparing this ending with Portrait of lady on fire is spot on.
I read somewhere that the original creator/writer of the webtoon also didn't like the ending with Juran in this drama.

It's a kdrama so they needed at least one bitchy villain character i guess.

No, in the webtoon the character who is forced to get married doesn't show up at her wedding and goes to find Jeong Nyeon. Then they kiss and get together.

The webtoon is exactly like this, the only get together at the end but it seems they changed the couples from webtoon. I don't get the all the subtext talk and censorship talk when the webtoon is exactly like that. They don't make big coming out speeches.

Also the webtoon is exactly like that. It s a subtle romance and plays out in the end.

You guessed right. In the webtoon they were lovers in the past but fate got in the way.

Well they took out the second most important character from the webtoon who is most popular character among fans. The drama is too rushed and a lot of plot points are missing. It's obvious that 12 episodes are not enough.

The drama is very tame and water downed compared to the webtoon. It's like they took out the social commentary about gender roles and misogyny not to mention the gl part.
Multiple important characters are missing. I am very disappointed by this adaptation but i ll watch it anyway.

Its probably mental illness, not just a regular hater.
